Melbourne AFF XMAS do - 2010 [Now Fri 17th Dec]

If this was the Saturday the 18th still then there is a good chance we would be there. We cannot attend on Friday 17th :( :( as we have tickets for the Eagles concert that night. :D :D
 
I've got my work shifts sorted and will be meeting you all for a drink (or 4) at Lagerfield before departing for my work xmas party.

Ok, count me in.

I just realised that I had a free weekend night in my Starwood account that I have to redeem this weekend, so that's a perfect excuse to get down to Melbourne :)

I should catch the tail end of the drinks, and will be in for dinner.

I couldn't bring myself to pay what QF were charging ($400 for Y, or $620 for J; and on a convertible 734) for such a short flight so I decided that it sounded like a perfect excuse to try out my newly acquired (status matched) Velocity Gold status and fly on Virgin Blue for significantly less.

I'll be landing around 6pm. I'll drop my bag off at the hotel and wander down to Lagerfield shortly after so I'd imagine I'll be there around 7pm depending on traffic.
 
So is it just 'spot the likely AFFers' at Lagerfield then? I will probably be able to get there around 6ish... :)
 
My maybe has turned into a no. Turns out I have work for 2nd job after day job Christmas party (and i'm moving house, and flying out a few days after for Christmas).

Silly season? I can think of some better terms than that:)

Have a few for me though please!

Lol!! it is rather! I'll be there about 5.30 and have to leave around 6.45 for the work do!
 
I'm picking Ewing up from the airport. (In my brand new car I'm getting today;)) at 18:10. We will not get there til 19:00ish I am thinking. I am also bringing a friend as my designated driver. Booze Busses will be out in force.

It's in Crown right through the main entrance across from the exhibition centre ( Spencer/Clarendon street)

Bill,

The concert is at rod Laver, which is about a 25 mins walk from Lagerfield (going west to east)
 
Okay so where exactly? It's crowded in here! I don't think there's anyone attending that I met at the last one so this may be difficult
