There's certainly more chance of me making it if it's on a Friday - I'd just need to head back to CBR on Saturday morning.

Hi all

I propose we have a get together to say goodbye to 2010 on Friday December 17 at the Locanda Italian Steakhouse at Rydges Hotel Exhibition Street @ 8-830pm

Doing the same as previously, buy drinks direct at the bar while using my Platinum card and get 50% off drinks, then we will get 50% off meals for 12, and split the difference for anyone else - I think last time it was ~35% off food.

I personally think a set menu is the go with a vego option for those who don't partake in eating meat, however, its up to the attendees to decide

OK, Executive decision has been made to accommodate more people, as Saturday is quite inconvenient for most, the get together will now be Friday 17th December.

We'll be kicking off at the usual meeting place, Lagerfield bar from 1700ish onward, with dinner at the first listed venue above

I really cannot be sure at this stage, and probably not till very close to the day, of my attendance, so for ease of bookings etc. I'll (regretfully) decline.

If it happens that I can make it, then if it is possible to tweak the dinner booking then well and good, if not, then c'est la vie and enjoy the evening!
