Help! I have booked myself and the mrs on Malaysian Airlines First class through Qantas using QFF points. Booking was made ~2 months ago. We are flying in Jan. Now that Malaysian airlines have re-branded their First Class to 'Business Suites' will I still get Qantas F Lounge access even though I have paid for the First class tickets? Been trying to ring Qantas to find out but there seems to be a huge wait on their call center today.

Rang up Malaysian airlines and they confirmed that I will have Qantas First Lounge access (woot!) as I booked before the changes were announced. They have updated the booking to reflect this as well. I have asked them to send me an email confirmation.

Will ring up Qantas to confirm as well...

I'd assume MH should issue you an invite to the First Lounge at check-in, which you would need.

As I suspect boarding pass will say Business Suites.

Wonder whether QF will reduce the points/SC earn on KL-Japan Suites fares (the KL-Aus/Europe flights in J/F only earn as Premium Economy)
