Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

Hi team,
Just wanting to double check. I'm travelling on QF95 J class, QF Gold. I'm aware that I would be directed to QF J lounge in MEL, any luck trying to get to the EK lounge or is that wishful thinking?

Thanks :)

Can't hurt to ask, but the rules say no.

So if I need/want to use priority pass in Melbourne...... Domestic...... Do I need a plane ticket? That would be REX lounge..... That's the only available in Melbourne right?

Technically yes. A boarding pass is required. Most the food vendors don't ask. Never had a lounge not ask me.

Good evening, wondering if anyone can help me out in regards to my complimentary lounge passes.
I have a couple of Qantas Club complimentary lounge invitations that I received from a credit card sign-up.
Bought my MEL-SIN-MEL tickets yesterday night but I can only link the lounge passes to the Melbourne International Business Lounge and not the one in Singapore.
Any reason for this?
Thanks.

Is it just the one PAX on the booking? If you had 2 passes and 2 PAX, it would assign both to the first segment?

Hi dairyfloss, the booking is for 2 people, me and my wife.
When I try to assign the passes, I can only assign it to the Melbourne International Business Lounge.
There wasn't any option for the Singapore Lounge.

I'm travelling Bangkok Airways (PG ticketed) from Chiang Mai to Kuala Lumpur, via Bangkok. I have a Qantas ticketed (MAS operated) flight home later that day in Business class. Also Qantas Gold if that makes any difference.

Am I likely to be able to access any oneworld lounges in Chiang Mai (if one exists) or Bangkok? If so, I assume I wouldn't have my boarding pass for the flight home. Is a copy of my itinerary sufficient?

Thanks!

If you hold QFF Platinum status, then you can take in 2 guests, regardless of the class you are travelling, and the guests don't need to be travelling with you, either... If you hold a business class boarding pass (revenue or award), then it's only a single guest you can take in, travelling or otherwise.
