With only a month until Jetstar International takes off, I am surprised that there hasn't been more information released about Starclass.

The only picture I have seen of the seat was in an email about 2 weeks ago - and it didn't show much.

Has anyone seen any more info/pictures about the cabin?

Yes - I had seen that page, but it's more pictures that I'm interesting in seeing - thanks

I believe the StarClass seats will be the same as the current Millennium seats, just covered with leather instead of fabric (easier to clean) and with the addition of in-seat power.

So if you look at the current QF A330-200 business class cabin you will have a very good idea what the JQ StarClass cabin will look like.

Since none of the A330-200 aircraft have yet been fitted with the leather Millennium seats, the only way for a photo would be for a cabin mock-up to be built and that is not the style of a LCC.

And as posted on FT by our Wunala Dreaming (aka QF NB), here is a view of the outside of the StarClass cabin.

Is the actual name of the airline, Jetstar or Jetstar.com ? i seem to remember some airline in the 80's carrying product advertising, who was that? I think it would suit the Jetstar too.

Wouldn't they have finished at least one plane by now?

The seats (from what I have seen) do appear to have more recline than the standard Millenium seats. In fact, they appear to be a bit different generally.
See attached (though it isn't really giving much away!)

There was a display of both Starless and Starry class seats in Melbourne Central last week. Perhaps it's still there... Alas, I recall only thinking that the latter would be much comfier than the former. I don't think they looked like any Qantas business seat I've walked past on the way to the back.

I would not put much emphasis on that photo as being the actual seats they will be using.

Where physically was this? I am based in the Melb. Central Office Tower but don't often get to the retail areas. I'll have a look and take a image to post if it's still there.

I like the Jetstar colours - very fresh, clean.

Why would you even look at Jetstar? It's simply about re-educating us all into paying for things as "extra's" that were included.

I thought QF International Cattleclass was bad enough. Imagine how crap this will be.

They may say it's "All about choice" but it's not. Has anyone else noticed the availability of QF flights decreasing [convenient ones] as Jetstar increases?

Qantas are just pushing everyone onto a low service .. sorry I mean low cost carrier at the expense of the consumer.

Try checking the flight times out of Hobart. You can take QF if you want times you don't wish to travel. If you want a convenient time, you have to take PeasantStar.

What's next? The "Jetstar Club". Picture it now. As a FF Gold you go in and get an office chair to sit in. If you want a comfortable chair , you pay. Like something to eat? You pay for it. Like a drink? You pay for it.

It's all about pushing the service cost down, whilst they still pay the same cost to fly the plane.

Cheers,
[Awaiting another airline to provide another service. Let the international crowd into the domestic market I say.]

I don't know!

I just hope that by the time my flying days are over I have never had the pleasure to board this poor excuse of an airline.

Although I intend never to fly JQ domestically, I don't have any problems travelling internationally in Starclass.

Although it is disappointing that JQ is taking over some QF sectors, I would like to see JQ start operating on more sectors that are not currently serviced by QF (as is the case with their new services to Vietnam).

There was an article in the age on Friday regarding Jetstar's move into the London / Europe routes - it also mentioned that they launched their first four A330's - but no photos still, not even on their website. See article: Jetstar to expand flights to Europe and US - Travel - theage.com.au
The article is bollocks, like most things in The Age these days, really just a reprint of a press release. There was no "unveiling" of any planes, nor does Jetstar have a Business - type product, by international airline standards.

Stop press...just found this sneak preview.
