Why would you even look at Jetstar? It's simply about re-educating us all into paying for things as "extra's" that were included.
I thought QF International Cattleclass was bad enough. Imagine how crap this will be.
They may say it's "All about choice" but it's not. Has anyone else noticed the availability of QF flights decreasing [convenient ones] as Jetstar increases?
Qantas are just pushing everyone onto a low
service .. sorry I mean low cost carrier at the expense of the consumer.
Try checking the flight times out of Hobart. You can take QF if you want times you don't wish to travel. If you want a convenient time, you have to take PeasantStar.
What's next? The "Jetstar Club". Picture it now. As a FF Gold you go in and get an office chair to sit in. If you want a comfortable chair , you pay. Like something to eat? You pay for it. Like a drink? You pay for it.
It's all about pushing the service cost down, whilst they still pay the same cost to fly the plane.
Cheers,
[Awaiting another airline to provide another service. Let the international crowd into the domestic market I say.]
