Had a pre-Island dining warm pretzel on Friday:

Right before the poached chicken sandwich:

From last week:

It was salmon, roasted/caramelised onion (looked like chestnuts at first) and a lemony yoghurty cheese thing (I have no idea what it was, they didn't have menus).
Nice and different!

Had the - you guessed it - chicken laksa again on Friday.
Looks like a regular menu item, just like the Cantonese chicken in the bain marie ...

Was just in the Melbourne domestic J lounge and was offered a breakfast "plate de jour".

IIRC, it was Toasted focacia with feta, roasted capsicum and egg.

Very rich and quite nice.

So it's actually open again - what maintenance looks to have been done during the two week closure. ;)

Did they only toast it lightly? It barely looks toasted! Otherwise looks delicious :)
It was certainly toasted albeit lightly. It was quite crunchy on the back.

I believe they reopened Sunday. Not much apparent maintenance - they still have not fixed the glass benchtop over the servery area.

You mean that havent done any maintenance like they said they would. How surprising.

I've had the same before and it's quite nice..

I have only ever seen the muesli in the SYD lounge. Apart from the capsicum that sounds quite nice.
