Anyone know if points redemption stays count and/or best price guarantee stays count towards these bonuses? I've got a 5 night in New York IC Barclay under best price, then 2 nights each in Washington DC IC and Chicago IC. (Yeah looking forward to those!!)

I guess I should also ask if joining ambassador will give me lounge access and other perks during those points stays ?

I have a very similar offer to blackcat20, and to what I received the previous quarter... lots of "stay another 3 nights" on top of "another 3 nights" etc... luckily though, my Europe trip will give me 17 nights and I'm coming to Melbourne in August so that should give me my 18th night. Beyond that, I'm out of luck. I would have been happier with bonuses for staying at different property types, as I'm definitely mixing it up in Europe. So I guess I can't complain about 28,100 points, just enough to renew Ambassador.

Award nights count right?

Hmmmm. I was kinda counting on this promotion for my upcoming trip during August.....

Now I don't know what to do. Maybe boutique hotels or other brands just booking club rooms and using hotel.com for rewards.

Would never stay at IHG hotels for these measly points.

I wonder has anyone booked under the 'best rate guarantee' I've got a 5 night stay coming up, the first night is free and the remainder slightly discounted, I'm wondering if that will be a qualifying stay. I had a look at the terms and conditions and although 'best rate guarantee' wasn't mentioned, it may fall under some of the complimentary or discounted non-qualifying stay rates.

I'll try to update when I've completed my stay.
