IHG Accelerate Q2 2017

I too was lucky to get the 'three' offer ....
Complete the three tasks, and get 42k bonus.
Pity it doesn't start til 15th. May, as I'm in Japan at this time, and could had two out of three ticked off !!

Generally, you should be ok if prior bookings are consumed/completed during the period. Obvious exceptions are when you are explicitly required to 'book' using the IHG app or online etc during the promotion.
 
I can confirm in prior accelerate promotions that existing bookings that are completed within the promotion time period are eligible even if booked outside of it.
 
Had my first stay with IHG for a while and will have to go and check whether it was booked after I loaded Accelerate to my account. At least I know it was valid for AMEA offer as that had been loaded earlier...so now to wait for it to post and see what they give me. Accelerate program marketing posters was plastered everywhere and even in the room card wallet

It doesn't matter when it was booked as long as the stay is within promotion period.
 
I love how IHG's IT have their systems working and you only (generally) have to wait less than a week for transactions to post (Virgin could learn a lot ;) )

Weird because I am already registered for Q2 and when I tried to register (after signing in), it came up with a blank screen. Thought it might be an added bonus, but doesn't appear that way now. Bit :confused:

Stayed on AMB Cert rate for two nights few weeks ago ( only paid for one night ) at Sydney IC.

With all the ACCELERATE items, plus the 'My Birthday' promo, I netted just over 32k in points ( which I think was more than I was expecting ).

It gave me two out of three completed for ACCELERATE.

I actually received an acknowledged 'two' paid nights, not just the one I really paid for.
 
I love clients that change their mind and it saved me $ and gets me closer to Accelerate rewards. Staying at HI Potts Point on Sunday night (AAA raet $135) and had booked to see clients at Parramatta on Mon night, so booked AAA rate($178) there as well (before realising that I needed a points + pay). Now not all clients in this family group can see me, so remaining one works in Nth Syd and suggested a traditional Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. Cancel booking at HI Parramatta, get HI Darling Harbour P+P $20K points + $54 USD ($70AUD). Awesome :D.

Get 2,400 points back under Accelerate offer and now will just need another 2 nights to meet full offer requirements for my pot of bonus points (31,600).

Yes, mine was updated sometime in the last few days to include a 2000 points for a stay in August offer.
 
As I previously did a stay in June I have not been fortunate enough to receive an update to stay in August as well.

I do have an upcoming stay though that shall give me my last Accelerate Q2 bonus, falling way short of top points (they wanted 27 nights!).

I've got a further offer as well, but only 1,500 points for a stay in August. I could get it together with my last 2 nights to secure the 5K offer and the overall bonus point haul of 31,600

It's there for me as well. Now will it see that my August booking is points and pay and give me credit for that type of stay as well as an August stay?

Both stay types are offers in the Accelerate promotion.
