IHG 40k Book Direct Promo - 2017

hightide, I am similarly interested as I registered for the AMEA promo (6 April), booked on 18 April then waited until I got the IHG email on the Q2 promo before registering for it (2 May). My stay last weekend has posted but I was only confident the AMEA would post (which it did):



I'll put more faith in other bookings I have made since 2 May as to whether they will piggy-back. Fingers crossed for us all that have registered for both

Depends where you are located and what you consider to be cheap?

On the GC I quite often see the IC and CP get close to $100/night on occasion.

I booked outside of this promotion but stayed within (the dates). My points haven't triggered.

Is this the same for everyone else ?

Getting back to earlier questions, a couple of 1 night stays in several oz cities triggered both Book Direct and Accelerate Q2 offers... 47k total haul. Now back to Le Club, IHG just don't appreciate loyalty.

Perfect - a trip to SYD in early July sees me staying at HI Potts Point one night, then HI Parramatta the next night. AMEA Book Direct 3 stays done and bonus points will be coming my way

Even better when they piggyback the Accelerate Q2 promo as well

I understood the points and pay stay isn't a qualifying stay under the T&C's (bolding is mine):

but I needed it for my Accelerate Q2 promo.

But looking at my offers it has this book direct and get 40000 bonus points for 4 stays.Can I sign up for both?

It is my belief that you will get both. I am yet to test it but will try next weekend

This is very confusing.

I received 1000 points for OTA Book Direct 2017.

First stay in June I received 5000 points as OTA Book Direct 2017 - First Stay.
Second stay in July I received 9000 points as DO NOT Register.

Is this promotion ending now or valid through to end of year?

JohnK, you have met 3 of the 5 hurdles of the offer. Others have posted upthread about the same incorrect wording - ignore what they put in the field. Concentrate on the prize - you have until 31 December to get the last level of bonus points. I'm sure you'll do that

Mate, look into exactly what you signed up for. I doubt you will be getting "10,000 points for IC stays" EVERY TIME .....

You have most likely signed up for the 10,000 points for booking an IC Club access room ( which I think is a 'one-off' offer ).

With a cross-over of 'OFFERS', I've lost track of where I stand.

Returned from IC Saigon Vietnam a few days ago, and my 'standard' points have already posted.

But my 'promotions' points will probably take a up to a few weeks.

I too don't have an accurate 'MY OFFERS' listing on my logged in page.

According to the IHG system, I am already registered for this 40k offer, but it doesn't show in 'MY OFFERS'.

My recent IC stay was all I needed to get 'over the line' for the PREVIOUS promo, where I should get a total of 43k in points. Plus, there is this current offer, that overlaps.

It's now too confusing to follow it ....

You have most likely signed up for the 10,000 points for booking an IC Club access room ( which I think is a 'one-off' offer ).

The offer is "ENJOY 10,000 BONUS POINTS WITH EVERY CLUB INTERCONTINENTAL® STAY". So, needs to be a Club stay, but multiple times should be fine.
