Maybe not from Hogwarts, but certainly from the East coast ports of BNE, SYD & MEL.
SYD has 7 QF operated destinations in Asia with another 5 codeshared and 3 more JQ.Is it still possible to fly QF to Asia? I thought it was almost all code shae on EK or deathstar.

MEL has 2 QF, 4 more JQ and 4 codeshare
BNE has 2 QF, 1 JQ and 1 codeshare
PER has 3 JQ and 1 codeshare
ADL has 1 JQ
DRW has 2 JQ
OOL has 1 JQ
CNS has 3 JQ
(some ports may have QF+JQ or QF+codeshare. Have only counted to JQ and codeshare if QF does not operate the route)
The changes to QFF is simple. You fly with QF, you are penalised. You fly with a partner airline, you are penalised.

How does Finnair Plus stack up as an alternative to QF FF and other OW FF programmes?
On the other hand, how many people even fly Qantas to Asia these days?
I'm just having a look at the program changes stuff. There seems to be no reason to think partner airlines points earning will change. They have announced changes to QF and JQ points earn. But in relation to partners all they say is "There are also some changes to the way you ran status credits on our partner airlines..."
Therefore changes to QF/JQ earning and also some changes to SC on partners.

Some big changes.
have a look at status credits - business class - Qatar airways - MEL to DOHA
vs
business class QF MEL to Dubai
- both end destinations very close to one another but VERY different status earn.
So I make it that partner SC now half of QF.

It was mentioned previously that the earn rates for partners will also move to the "simpler" region-based format. It might be too confusing for them to make it happen in time, however.
Or SYD-LHR based on my reading of the tables:
QF & Partner Old= 240
QF New = 280
Partner new = 140
So I make it that partner SC now half of QF.
