Hi all,

I have made a QF OWA booking in J. When booking the award flight I put my AY number under FF program. My QF status is 'nobody', I'm Emerald with AY. The pdf ticket has my AY details on it but when I go into MMB I can see both AY/QF. When I go to select seats on MMB, only my QFF number/status is visible.
Am I still going to be able F lounges on my travels?
Thanks.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

sometime when 2 numbers are attached one doesn’t stick for the system. Remove the lower status one and try again

Flash your Finnair digital card showing Plat at the door and you should be fine. You won't be able to remove your QFF number from a points booking on QF's website.

Thank you both for the response. I'll follow Guvner's advice and show my AY card, I don't see a reason this wouldn't work.
Interestingly, when I go to MMB on my desktop/laptop my AY number doesn't show in the booking but when I use the Qantas app I can see both QF/AY numbers. Also, when going to seat selection on the app, my AY Emerald status comes up.

@Maki as long as you have a valid OW membership card with the green symbol/ oval on it you should have no problems.

Is showing the OW membership sufficient for entry to all OW lounges, regardless of the membership tied to the booking, or does it vary by airline?

Oneworld lounge rules are different from, say those of Qantas. You just need to possess the status with oneworld while for Qantas your status need to be "in the booking".

Qantas' rules do not override oneworld rules when travel is oneworld marketed and oneworld operated - that includes QF on QF.

However, with travel involving non oneworld Qantas partners such as Jetstar or Emirates, Qantas rules apply.

This explanation sums it up well!👍🏻
