Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

That's terrible 28 dollars for 310 spend

I just got a Coles one spend 50x4 and get 50. That's 25%

Some of the offers feel like they've had very little thought put into them. Grocery shopping is a constant spend for most families. Make targets realistic to ensure customers stay loyal.

Ah but if a customer is regularly spending a certain amount, what's the incentive to reward them to keep it the same? A reward makes sense from a business perspective if a customer increases spend, comes back after spend drops, or switches their spend to more profitable items...

Receive the following offer:
"Spend $80 or more in one transaction and scan your registered Woolworths Rewards card at checkout each week to earn 2000 bonus points each week.

If your 2000 bonus points associated with this offer are not loaded instantly onto your Woolworths Rewards card after your shop, they will be added to your balance within 10 business days after the promotional end date."

Spend $81 today and got the 2,000 WW points automatically added. Interesting that some promotions allow your spend to be spread across multiple ships. Not this one unfortunately.

My account got a 2 week offer. Spend $70 each week in one transaction for 1000 each week. Usually this would be too high, however, we've got a party next weekend so I should be able to meet the target easily.

Dont mind this one..
shop and scan each week to earn up to 7200 bonus points.

Another family member also received a 2 week offer. Spend $40 each week in one transaction for 600 points each week.

The percentage rewards seem to have gone down. They were around 15% return but both of these offers are less than 10% return. I'll take both of them up due to the party but will skip the next offers on these accounts if the return is that low.

I spent $70 this morning to complete week 1 of the first offer. The bonus points didn't get credited but I'm hoping they post during the week. I don't want to be chasing more points.

If the customer is spending say $60/week for a long time and you give them offer for spend $75 and they achieve that offer then it makes no sense to increase that offer to $90 or $125 unless they start spending $75/week regularly.

The targetted spend offer needs to be a stretch target but not out of reach where people don't even bother and go to Coles instead.

Mum has received an offer of 5,600 bonus points for $155 spend/week for 2 weeks. The spend can be in one or more transactions but the spend hurdle has gone up again.
I misread the bonus points. It is only 4,800 bonus points or ~7.75%.

I have also received an offer of 2,800 bonus points for $95 spend/week for 2 weeks so a return of ~7%. The spend can be in one or more transactions.

It seems the percentage gain for the current round of offers is a consistent just under 10% rate. Hope they improve the offers in the next round.

Exactly. The second two-week offer I received has a higher spend target - not by much, it's $85 this time instead of $80 (which is above my normal spend anyway) BUT the amount of points on offer has almost halved, 2400 total across the two weeks instead of 4000. That's hardly going to entice me to try to stretch to reach the target this time!

Never get bonus offers for petrol, but I'm currently waiting for my 4000 bonus points from a recent two-week WW offer - had to spend $80 each week to get the points, which I just managed to squeak over due to some extra shopping I had to do and also the fact that this time (at last) it could be done in multiple transactions. Ts & Cs state if the points weren't added instantly, they would post within 10 business days after the end of the promotion. Have others found that it takes the full two weeks for these sorts of bonus points to post, or are you getting them sooner?

Just an update for others who may be waiting for points - I contacted WWR Online Chat and they advised the bonus points will be added to my account on 3rd March, which is exactly 10 business days after the end of the promotion, so I'm hoping they will indeed be there on Friday.

all my recent woolworths bonus point offers have been way too high.

coles has been giving me achievable bonus FB.

Woolworths would usually win out with the 5% of egift cards, but coles has been offering me a better discount lately so woolies ain't getting much of my spend.

I received this fuel offer as well (first fuel offer EVER under any incarnation of the WWR program). Not much good to me unfortunately as I've just put $40 in the car at BP for the current $10 Amex statement credit, and only have a couple more days of driving to work and a bit of local shopping before I'm off to the US for the second and third fortnights of this offer.
