Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Typical, l go on holidays and l get offers every week. l have not activated any because l'm on holidays in Europe. Fingers crossed l get a big bonus offer in the next few weeks.

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Yes I got no offers for months, then I screw up on a credit card on time payment and the offers started flooding in to my email in box while I am in the US.

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

While I understand you are probably exaggerating a mite...why buy tea not on special for points worth less that waiting to buy on special?

Good point lovetravellingoz, I was probably experiencing a rush of blood to the head in th excitement of getting a non-liquor offer :D

Seriously though, the tea wasn't a bad price, and it is a staple item which stores well and will be used (even if it takes a while).

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

unloved this week too. Must have spent too much time overseas last month.

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Zilch for me, too. :(

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

ditto! first time in a while I have received nothing

Received a Big W pet products offer (after I bought some last week so presumably they targeted me because I'd bought something, but pretty useless now). Also got a WW Deli offer and a BWS '2 cases of beer' offer. Think I might just have managed the deli offer, but that's summing the cheese near the deli section is deli.

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Hi All... hope this is on topic...

I recently became a QFF member thanks to my new woolies qantas card. As a new member Qantas is offering me 2 extra bonus points per $ spent at participating restaurants, so 5 FF points per dollar.

Keen to test this out I went to The Bite in Parramatta for lunch, which I paid for with my Woolies card. When I presented my QFF Card, the waitress told me no need to scan as her boss had told her the points would automatically be registered through the Woolies card.

Can anyone confirm or deny this... to me it now seems unlikely system can work this way, though it would be good if it did....

If you are getting extra points for using the card then they will happen with the card, however your base 3 points still needs a card swipe:

[h=3]How you can earn[/h]Swipe your Qantas Frequent Flyer card when paying your bill - and remember if you pay your bill with a credit or charge card that allows you to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points, you'll earn points twice, once with the card provider and once with the restaurant.

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Yes I too was disappointed to see no bonus points for the tea/coffee/soup offer I received. I got the points for $50 spend on fresh food but not the tea.

Finally, the tea/coffee/soup bonus posted. That was a good shop. I earnt nearly 700 points spending about $140.

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

This weeks offers for me were:

- Buy 3 products from the deli and earn 100 bonus points, 4 products earn 150 points and 5 or more items earn 300 points (Woolworths).
- 250 bonus points from spending $20 or more on household cleaning products (Big W).

Should be easy to get maximum points this week.

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Was a good week...with about 4000 bonus points posting on top of normal points. ;)

Re: Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

Lovetravellingoz is worth following as he is super at getting the best out of offers like Amex and Woolworths deals.I am still chuckling about one of his most recent posts on where his bonus points come from! Blood out of a stone doesn't come close to describing his ability to maximize the maximum. What he can do is pretty awesome.

Or 1 prawn, 1 olive etc! :)

Also got the deli offer this week - my local woolworth's deli is a pretty feral place, so will most likely pass.

I have moved some recent posts from the closed mega thread regarding the above topic.

Anybody else noticing a significant delay in bonus points posting...? Still waiting for points to post from an offer on 27/6 :(

Does anyone recall the recent Homebrand promotion? Double points on all Homebrand products? I do not believe this was targetted but did it require activation? Both of my accounts have not posted any bonus points.

Off-topic but I am getting sick and tired of chasing Everyday Rewards for bonus points that have not posted....

I had some points post on 5 July, that I suspect were for that promotion.

I've only ever had problems with points posting once.

Points just posted for the Big W "Quarterly Statement from Everyday Rewards" email offer dated 20/6..... So points are posting slow for me... Looking back at the email offer it does say
If you qualify your bonus points will appear in your Everyday Rewards account by Sunday 3 July, remember bonus points do not appear on your receipt
Perhaps there is a FF points funding shortage at Woolworths hence the delay in posting points :p
