... but in the app there's no 20% discount showing that I can find for any booking that meets the criteria. I'm using the app on both my iPhone and iPad.

What am I missing?

IIRC these offers are not available across the board and you might just be selecting hotels not offering the rate. You might not be missing much; I'll be paying the extra for flexibility.

The rate only appears when searching on the app, not the website. Members are supposedly entitled to extra 10% off on the rate, but obviously the app doesn't always do that.

I liked ghe old member app offer, which was 20% off and flexible.

It works when clicking through directly from the email link.
Great -- thank you!

Yep -- I thought it would be available across the board but actually it only applies to a relatively limited number of hotels.

The list is rather extensive - there's the usual Accor pdf with the list of participating properties at the end of the detailed tile in the app. It runs to 89 pages, so over 4,000 properties.

What isn't consistent is the applicable stay dates, that vary by region.
Europe, North Africa, China, India and the Americas (North, Central, South) are only for stays from 16th October to 13 December 2026.
Middle East, (rest of) Africa and Pacific are 25th September 2026 to 31 March 2027.

As per usual: This offer is subject to availability.

I’ve just reached Platinum too with the help of the bonus 10 nights. It was quite unexpected and I wasn’t sure if would work given I’d already received an 8 night bonus earlier in the year.

I regret booking a breakfast included rate for my upcoming Sydney Sofitel stay now. Whoops.

Yes exactly. Nd that’s why I posted. I have an upcoming stay of 4 nights in Ibis that will take me to 61 nights = Platinum retain on nights. At the time those nights land, I will still be below the status point requirement of 14,000 points. So I would requal on nights at that point (if they are going to count my 15 nights from Signature).

Now I am assuming that they will advise me when that happens that I have retained platinum rather than waiting until year end to tell me that, although I could be wrong about that. Even if it is just that the chart of progress that I posted upthread from the app shows the target reached. I’d be thoroughly annoyed if that happened now in October, and then on 31 December they said oh sorry, you missed it.

I won’t miss it, with the stays booked for Nov and Dec, but if I wasn’t taking my trip to see Seat Son, that might be how it played out.

So hopefully I will be able to provide the data point when it happens - should know by end of Oct.
Sorry to say I am not going to be the data point on whether the Signature nights (15) stack with the Explorer nights after all. Due to bad weather in the area, we had to cancel our planned general aviation trip to Broken Hill, so I won't now have the situation where I was qualified for Platinum on nights but not points.

In fact I will be now be leaving the country in late November with 59 nights and not quite enough points to re-qualify for Platinum. Straight to the UAE for a 15 day booking. When I check out from that, I will have re-qualified for Platinum on both points and nights, and should also have made Diamond on points.
