EDR tardy in posting bonus offer points?

A new one to report. Like many here, got the 2nd May Big W promo, 150 pts for $20+ spend on Chocolates by 13 May, et al - just prior to Mothers Day so a given to score the bonus points (kids always buy their mother chocolates, don't they :D). Spent $39.88 on 11 May and no points forthcoming. Better get the receipt from home and ring back tomorrow, then email it in with the case number.

My wifes' 500 points underpayment from Big W promo 26 April (emailed receipts 21 May) is still being "investigated" by IT Team. Don't hurry

I'm convinced EDR have completely lost the plot . Thought I'd check today, not expecting any points yet, as it's stilll within the 72 hours.

Have got another "Complimentary EDR points" of 400. So, I think :-|, does this mean they have made the same mistake as they did 2 weeks ago , or is this the first tranche of missing points :), or is this a "we're very sorry, here's some complimentary points for bring very patient" :D.

I'm not game to ring up...

EDR is coming out with a sequel to the Never Ending Story franchise. It's tentatively titled "The Never ending story: The search for the missing QFF points!".

I chased up some double points recently and I think I got credited 10 extra points. I'm keeping them as I think this makes up for the time it cost me. Hopefully I won't have to chase up points for a while.

I know it is frustrating chasing up EDR bonus points but it is even more frustrating chasing up late Flybuys bonus points since the relaunch.

I have discovered you have to be vigilant with retaining receipts married to a print-out of the original offer. Ringing them without both documents is fruitless as they simply deny knowledge until you can prove, by quoting dates, the originating offer, activation and then activity--even though of course they have all that info online in the membership folio.

Makes me feel negative towards this platform but, with decreasing amounts of work travel these days, I need to maintain this to keep my balance growing--albeit very slowly!

had to chase missing bonus points tonight........I am hopeful the receipt is in my desk at work (they posted the normal points so the coughs know I shopped!!!) I just want the 300 BP that go with it

There is also a second lot of bonus points I have to wait until tomorrow to chase - have two out of the three receipts so just hopeful the pack of chewing gum receipt from BWS is also at work otherwise there goes 500 BP

When I recently chased points the entry level phone person couldn't see offer more than about 2 or 3 old. Had to put me through to IT who could see them apparently. So it might be they really can't find offers sometime.

Have had to follow up on missing bonus points twice now! luckily both have been credited on the call but still annoys me that I have to followup..

1 offer of Bonus 300 points for spending over $30 at WW.
1 offer of Bonus 150 points for spending over $50 in Deli, bakery, meat, fruit n veg dept. (this was hard to calculate whether or not I have reached the required level).

I am loosing confidence in the bonus offers and will stop using them if I have to do this every time.
Just got another one 200 points for spending more than $80, also in the T+C's it says I can spend this in one or more transactions.

Alright, I am about to completely and utterly tear strips off some Supervisor or Team Leader in EDR ... no points have been posted and it's been 2 weeks. I'm asking for 5K, although the original total was 5,400 and they've paid me 900 already. The least they can do is give me some bonus points for all the aggravation and time I have wasted following up their tardy process.

Perhaps I should advise them our family is going to bypass WOW, Big W, BWS and DSE until they fix it...see if that gets some action. Coles and FlyBuys, here I come???

LW, hope you got an acceptable outcome, the threat to bypass the WOW outlets I think would not worry them a lot... In cases where they rip me off points, I get some comfort by putting some business expenses through the Non-business QEDRCC to punish them...!

I got my first lot of bonus points that posted on their own yesterday without having to chase up with them.
100 bonus points for spending $20 on Fresh food.

So far 4 bonus offers received, 3 of them had to follow up with EDR for them to post manually, 1 posted by itself. Hopefully it stays like this!

I have not had trouble previously, do you think theyre simply inundated or are they deliberately avoiding honouring the offers.

Well I made the call yesterday afternoon and immediately when I gave a precis of the situation, I was placed on hold and she came back saying she had tried to call the IT area but they weren't answering. She offered me the choice of ringing back (no chance) or she'd leave my details for them to call me back.

30 mins ago I get a phone call. He trotted out the same excuse as proffered in my post of 11 July. The system was rejecting 5,000+ point transaction as being too large, so they were having to do it manually - at 500 points per tranactions (but he advised they could be all done on the one day, it wasn't a limitation of 500 points per day). So it has been escalated back to the Team Leader who is processing the first 500 point transaction now - but I have to wait 72 hours before I see them hit my account. So why have I receive 2 transactions of 400??? I'm not going to query it but I believe I deserve them paying the full 5,400 missing points - I'll take the 800 points as my cost for continually wasting my time to chase them up.

Needless to say, I'm not holding my breath .

boylero, I think it's more a combination of the former as well as poor systems and lack of automation in the process. I do not think it's our second point - that flies in the face of good brand management strategy.

LW,, I can assure you that any hint of only being able to post so many points at a time is a crock... I had 300,000 posted in 1 go which showed up in my account within 24 hours..and were posted to my QFF account in another 24 hours.

I'm owed 100 points, contacted them twice...no response...given up...I'm not as keen to take up their offers now.
QUESTION >>>>> How many people don't check if they get what they think they are getting..... How many points are they "accidentally" not paying in total. Pity because I think the EDR scheme is excellent for everyone

They were posting BP very regular - its only been the last month or two that I have had to contact them to get them posted. But i know friends who dont check.......I always do.
