EDR tardy in posting bonus offer points?

Well it's been two weeks and I still don't have my points. I'm also starting to think that I'm not getting my bonus points from my double points offers. Maybe it's time to start a Lindsay Wilson style spreadsheet to keep track. But overall, I'm starting to loose confidence in the EDR program.

You and me both! Lack of communication EDR...pity, we really had something going there for the first 5 months

I've started keeping records and they are tardy but so far all come through.

Well after I posted here last night, I sent EDR another email in a last ditch effort to get my points. Today, I received a phone call saying there was an issue and that the woolies points had posted and the Big W ones hadn't. Which I thought was the case. They said that I should receive the Big W points within 72 hours.

Just thought I would let you know that I have been chasing 300 missing points from the June Macro promotion (800 were credited) so called again today with all my receipts in hand, I was put on hold twice for the supervisor and then told to call back Monday, I sort of told them that I was not impressed after sending an email and making 4 calls and still no resolution, told me to hold again and came back and said the 300 points would be credited within 48 hours, did not have to quote receipt numbers or anything, think they are a bit worn down or overwhelmed in that department.

Mister Nice Guy is over. No missing bonus points posted on Friday.

Some poor person is getting both barrels on Monday.

I'm still waiting for my bonus points from my double points to post from shopping I did 1.5 weeks ago despite the offer saying will post within 7 days of the end of the offer (Which was the Sunday on which I did the shopping).

But I'm starting to feel as if I should scrap this EDR account and start a new one.

And for what it's worth, I got all the bonus points which I referenced in the opening post.

Edit:

I just noticed something.. in my EDR account it says can take 21 days to appear in QFF. The seven days noted in the offer must refer to EDR account which I can see my bonus points.

You've seen my slight problem. Called a second time, got out through to support they checked the transactions and agreed to add the points, which are supposed to appear in 72 hours. Seems positive but I'll wait to see if it works.

Seems to take closer to 96 hours to actually occur.

Well, I just lost the plot with the non-Australian EDR CS and got my "first warning" - I really can't abide what I consider to be complete and utter stupidity...the call went something like this:

Me: I'm following up a case number that hasn't been finalised...(gave number)
Him: How many points are you expecting?
Me: 5,400
Him: That's alot of points, what kind of promotion was that?
Me: A Macro bonus offer (I was so temped to tell him that 1.3M points is a lot of points, but I think it would have been lost on him....)
Him: We don't have any Macro offers with bonus points that high?
Me: Ah, no, that's because I bought a number of Macro products
Him: Are you sure it's that many points?
Me: (Proceeded to lose it and won't bore you with exactly what I said, but the tone of voice was condescending )

Finally got transferred through to where the action happens and got another CS person who actually knew something and has told me (after a lengthy on hold time whilst she contacted the IT team who had been investigating it for the past 6 weeks), that she has escalated to a supervisor and the points will be processed this afternoon in my account (but expect in 96 hours).

So it looks like there may be some finalisation and my 5,400 points will be processed. Another case (with 258 points) would be the same time frame. She even looked up my wife's case (that they are STILL investigating) and she will contact them about it as well.

Now, how long should I hold my breath.

Well, logged into my account this morning to find:

Great, so 4.5 months later I have my DSE points (shown as the WOW complimentary points) and down to 5k points to chase now from the Macro offer! I'll bet they think they've credited the lot (but I know that none of my purchases when put together equal 400 points):

Attached are copies of the Woolworths receipts for the missing transactions from 1 May to 5 May inclusive.

Oh God! Don't tell me you have to ring them again!
Is this just a never ending saga!
Makes me scared if I ever get one of those great macro/select offers to ever use one!
What if you were depending on these points to book a JASA to Europe/USA and missed out because of their tardiness!

Yes, just made the call (number 5 for the Macro missing points) and spoke to an Australian...explained everything so he could understand it..then he couldn't raise the next level (dispute resolution team) - they are [hopefully] ringing me back

Is this just a never ending saga!
I certainly bloody hope not. At least the longest missing points (DSE) have been posted

Makes me scared if I ever get one of those great macro/select offers to ever use one!
Initially their system couldn't distinguish Macro products (but could see Select). Think they fixed it shortly thereafter and for Joshua, it seemed automatic

What if you were depending on these points to book a JASA to Europe/USA and missed out because of their tardiness!
Whilst I am looking at doing a booking to USA on QFF & AA points currently, thankfully I wasn't relying on the missing 5K points.

Now to give them my next missing one - I was waiting to finalise these older ones first - but only 150 points from Big W from offer date 2 May (bought on 13 May - expiration was 15 May). So another one to talk to them about ;).

Well, strike me down with a feather, had a call from EDR IT area today and the guy there said the missing Macro points would be manually entered this afternoon and should show overnight.

I remembered to ask how many before he rung off and he said "5,400". I saw no reason to correct his mistake, the extra 400 points go some way towards all the angst in trying to get these posted.

Now to wait until tomorrow :D.

Great result, should'nt be this hard though

I have been contacting them by email from the CONTACT US link on their website rather than calling them. each time I have missing points and I give them full details of the receipt etc and what I expect and they email back and post points within a couple of days.

Did it again today for 100 points SHORTPAID.

Should not be this hard !!!

I have started stapling the cash register receipt to a printout of the respective offer to, as the Irishman said...."to be sure to be sure"" and then throwing away once the points post

Still nothing has shown up in my account, so am definitely going to escalate when I ring on Monday.

So after not seeing my missing points after the expected 72 hour delay, I rang and when the poor EDR girl saw the note on the file, she transferred the call straight away to a Supervisor. Gave the case number to her and away she went. Very apologetically, she said that they had been posted (by the IT guy who rang last week?) but she could see that they hadn't shown up in my account. She will email her Team Leader to manually credit the points (and again, have to wait the 72 hours).

Then she said something strange:?: - they have to be posted in 500 point lots because there are so many points to be processed. I laughed internally, thinking what would happen if Joshua's Select cat food points haul didn't credit...they'd have someone sitting there for a month

I'm hoping they still credit 5,400 as the additional 500 will be part recompense for all my time following it up . I'll update early next week.
