I'm doing a SYD-BNE hop leaving from the international terminal tomorrow and I was wondering if I will need to take my passport to get through customs. I'm not travelling out of Australia and will be transferring to a BNE-TSV flight after that. Anyone?
You need an official form of Australian (State) government issued photo ID. So an Australian Drivers Licence is sufficient. People who are not Australian citizens do require a passport.I'm doing a SYD-BNE hop leaving from the international terminal tomorrow and I was wondering if I will need to take my passport to get through customs. I think you still need your passport as you are going through customs.
Well there you go. I thought one still needed a passport.d sticker allows for either passport or drivers licence.. I've used both before. No dramas either way

What time? I'm doing SYD-ADL tomorrow.
Do you still have to fill out a dep/arrival card?
No you don't... just don't lose your boarding pass. you need it at the other end to hand in.
And if you wish to keep your boarding pass for whatever reason then you can just provide the AQIS staff with the stub IME.
Sorry medhead and Joshua, I was a bit late to reply. QF16 that continues to Manilla, 11.30am. I had a guest pass for the first lounge from last years stuff up, so managed to use it this morningWhat time? I'm doing SYD-ADL tomorrow.

I take a photo - just in case I ned to make a retrospective claim. And if you wish to keep your boarding pass for whatever reason then you can just provide the AQIS staff with the stub IME.
No worries. I was in the first lounge as well could have guested you. But I guess your pass had an expiry date.
With the boarding pass my experience is that JQ take the stub and AQIS in Melb take the main part. For QF81 just now, qantas was happy to scan the BP. AQIS in ADL took the whole BP but where happy to give me the stub on request. I always photograph my BP in such situation, or keep the stub, in case it is needed for a retro points claim.
