Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Do they generally pay out when using a voucher?
Cellarmasters are generally good in that they tend to pay when you do use a voucher but if you were buying something really expensive I wouldn't risk it. I did look at the terms and they do say it doesn't apply to groupon and any other vouchers so I would probably leave the voucher if the 25% is higher.

Juniper Estate Aquitaine Rouge 2016 - GW/HWC95 - $32 @ Summer Hill, price-match @ Dekanta - $28.50 @ Juniper Wine Club ($50 cancellation fee)

if you're now interested to try more Barolo, then perhaps consider Linnaea Trifulau Barolo 2013 - GW94 - $60 (free delivery with any 3 bottles), possibly the best value one since Cascina Fontana Barolo 2013 (though there is also Trediberri Barolo 2016) - even better is that its producers are now local Melburnians

Linnaea Trifulau Barolo DOCG 2013 $54.99 @ H-W Speak

price-match @ United Cellars

Cashrewards Cellarmasters currently 25%. 2004 Krug for $322 after cashback would be tempting if you could buy in singles.

if you are lucky, then the 1998 might be found elsewhere for less in singles or a mixed six

no, applies sitewide, including clearance products - still seems plenty available online, at least in Melboune, such as 50% off Irvine Grand Merlot, Wolf Blass Black, Shadrach, Eileen Hardy Shiraz, Stonewell, HRB Cabernet/Shiraz - @Saltywings :)
There is still a fair bit at the Rockdale, NSW store for those in that area:
- Shadrach $60
- Devils Lair Cab Sav $23
- Cullen Cab Merlot $22
- Moss Wood Amy's $21
- Katnook Cab Sav $21

Clarendon Hills Brookman Clarendon Merlot 2013
Out of stock, that's a massive claimed discount.

This time round the UW look decent, and alot have sold out!

Not much in SA, but I did see some in NSW.

Well, this is only for those interested in quaffing wine, but I was browsing the BWS website this afternoon and came across what I thought was a great deal.

Lindeman's Bin 50 Shiraz was on special at 3 for $15, so I ordered 6 and the total cost was $24 ($4 each). Not sure why, but that was it.

I'm now sipping a glass of it while I type. Not bad at all for the price!

$6 at Dan's, is it actually decent?

I always wanted to basic grab a $5 $15 $30 $45 $60 and really compare at what price point is a good price point for decent wine.

It rates at 3.6 on Vivino, which isn't bad.

Personally, I like it a lot, better than many higher priced shiraz'. Very happy with my purchase, will buy more if it's available locally.

Edit: Just bought another 6 at a local BWS. An amazing bargain at $4 a bottle! Many BWS stores hove no stock though.

Using a $50 off $120 voucher, you can buy:
for $73, or $56.41 after 25% cashback, or
Remember, gift cards invalidate cashback (vouchers might, but gift cards definitely do)

I have a few spare vouchers in case anyone is interested - pm me - sorry for not offering sooner

I would be keen, but no idea what to buy! I don't value white wine, so I need a deal on reds 😬
