If you read back a bit in this thread - or it may be the Vinomofo thread W&D posted what to do to get email notifications

Well damn me if I haven't received an alert since the 24th of October o_O! I've just fired an email off to admin to determine what the hell is going on, I haven't had time to check back in daily to look at watched threads as I was relying on email alerts but how wrong I was, it's the one vexed issue I have with this new improved forum, at least with the old-school one I never missed an alert to a thread I was watching....

You're not alone in not getting updates, seems random (and yes i also went through and ticked the boxes for threads I wanted to watch).

It's very frustrating that's for sure, I've just bounced another message off to Admin alerting them to the fact that it's not just me experiencing the issue, we'll see what transpires....

Thats to qaz for posting for posting the Taittinger deal a few pages back. My Jeroboam finally arrived yesterday. :)

Just got an email from Cracka - seems they now have a Rewards Program:
Introducing Cracka Rewards - Earn Free Wine!
Hi QF WP,

I’m super excited to announce the launch of Cracka Rewards – our new loyalty program where your support is turned into wine!

To earn points simply make a purchase, post a review, refer a friend or like us on Facebook or Instagram.

To redeem them, simply visit your account area and select your preferred voucher or gift.

To start collecting points you’ll need to reset your password.

RESET YOUR PASSWORD

As an added bonus, provide your date of birth and we’ll send you a little gift on your birthday each year.

250 POINT BONUS

To give you a little taste of how the program works, we’ll throw in 250 points when you activate your account. You’ll then start earning points for every purchase made except via Cracka AUCTIONS which operates on a separate website, accessible using your previous username & password.

Otherwise, here’s cheers and welcome to Cracka Rewards!

So 250 points on activation seems to give $10 off. So quickly liked them on FB for another 250 points (don't have Insta but thinking of installing it just to nab another 250) and gave them my bday (seems you don't get the 1K points until your birthday).

I'm guessing your birthday just happens to be next week, right? ;)

Stonier Chardonnay 2015 $15.65 @ Dan Murphy’s in any six after 3.5% Cashrewards & 5% off WISH - cheaper than Cellar One - ends midnight AEDT tonight :)

And along with the secret grenaches revealed further below, Dan's also has Tyrrell's Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz 2013 $13 (GW/JO/JH91)

Following on from the Barolo discussion in the Nice Wines thread, besides Boccaccio's Benevelli tasting this weekend, WineStar have $10 off Fontanafredda Barolo Serralunga 2013 at $49.99 until Tuesday

Boccaccio is also having a VIP Super Cellar Sale with wines sourced from their top customers

Back in stock again at Cellarmasters is Wynns Coonawarra Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 for $19.23 after $50 off (pm me for voucher), 7% Cashrewards, 5% off WISH

Alternatively, Singlefile Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 is $24 at Prince Wine Store (CM(WF)95+/JH97) - I rarely buy cabernet these days, but was so impressed after trying last year for someone else, that I ordered a couple to go with some Fletcher

At $100 each until next Wednesday, Fine Wine Merchant have the new By Farr 2016 GC Chardonnay, 2015 RP and Tout Pres Pinot Noirs

Whilst it's been cheaper elsewhere, 2015 John Duval 'Entity' Shiraz for $36.81/bt at JD Cellars with $10 delivery comes close

I ended up receiving the 2014.

Same - unfortunately it's apparently worse than the 2015 so I might return it - luckily I ordered only one with my Yering Station Chardonnay 2013

Given that grenache is meant to be the new pinot noir (well, at least due to Lino Ramble in my case) these might be of interest at Dan's (though not necessarily pinot-like, and I don't know if they've been elsewhere as well, such as Vinomofo):
Dan's also has these to price-match:
Otherwise elsewhere:
Grenache of the South - But is it really the Pinot of the south?
Grenache: your time has come

Finally pulled the trigger on the $30 of $150 AMEX Credit at First Choice..

1 x 2013 Cape Mentelle Cab Sav ($55)
1 x 2013 Wirra Wirra Angelus Cab Sav ($43)
2 x 2016 Jim Barry Watervale Riesling ($14)

The Jim Barry is as cheap as you can get it anywhere else, so I'm sharing the credit between the other two to bring them down to decent prices :)

Jim Barry Watervale Riesling again $14 at First Choice (until 14th November), though apparently 2017 possibly not as good

2017 O’Leary Walker Waterfall Riesling $17.99 @ Nicks

2015, 2016 or 2017 - Which Riesling Vintage in South Australia is the Best?

My local BWS stores in WA seems to have quite a few wines on Clearance at the moment. Found 2011's of Cape Mentelle & Stella Bella Suckfizzle Cab Sav's at $69.30 & $37.80 respectively which can be further discounted with the 25% off for any 6er or more.

Quite a few others as well but they do seem to vary from store to store. Not all were marked as Clearance but if you see any price cards with a black line through it as may have been mentioned here previously, it's worth asking for it to be scanned.

Just recently realised that BWS online has actual in-store prices, including clearance, such as Pierro LTC Semillon Sauvignon Blanc $27.75 @ Balwyn VIC - so would everyone please quote store locations in future? :)

Thats to qaz for posting for posting the Taittinger deal a few pages back. My Jeroboam finally arrived yesterday. :)

You're welcome - I'm honoured that your first post after joining AFF more than three years ago is to thank me :)

Not as rewarding as My Wine Guy, but at least they have $50 vouchers and Cashrewards to make up for it
