No worries.. some 2014 Bin 389 appeared which I grabbed for $49pb. Would have been $47 if I could click & collect!

I find the whole click and collect scenario a bit weird down here in Tassie, we basically don't have it to the best of my knowledge but bizarrely I noticed a stack of glossy flyers sitting on the counter of our local BWS store urging me to take advantage of it! Whenever I make an on-line purchase from say someone like Cellarmasters I test out the click and collect option just for the hell of it but always get the same 'not available in your State' message, the upshot? $15.95 delivery even for 6 bottles, bloody outrageous!

Same here in 'Country' NSW... very annoying.

Eqiqure take the cake though, asking $19 for delivery of a 6 pack!

W&D, I can confirm BWS do click and collect in Tassie - as does DM.

Summer Hill Wine Shop - $30 a 6 pack

But they were still the cheapest at the time, inc delivery

Just received an email from Vintage Cellars offering a mystery 2012 Barossa Shiraz for $160 for 6, save $80. Drink until 2032. 95 from JH.

Does anyone have idea what it could be?

From an email just received:

Hi QF WP,

Great news!

Cracka has channelled Russell Crowe today, picking up a nomination as a finalist in the StarTrack ORIAS, the Oscars for online retail!

While we're no Gladiators, one of the categories we've been nominated for is the 'People's Choice' award; a category voted by the most important judges of all, our customers!

As you have recently bought wine from Cracka, I thought I'd drop you an email and ask that, if you like what we do, could you vote for us?

There's something in it for you too, as by voting you’ll go in the running to win 1 of 5 $1,000 gift cards or 1 of 10 $100 gift cards.

Click here to show your support for Cracka Wines and for your chance to win!

Cheers and thank you,

I've just realised I've got 20 invites to Cellar One (formerly The Den).

Mods - I can't remember.. do I have to post about this in a different thread?

There is a referral thread to use, - here is the old one for the Den but you may wish to start a new one for CellarOne

Once you post it there you can link to it from this thread

Well that's interesting because I have categorically not been able to access it as recently as two days ago, having been directed to CM via CR and at the point in the checkout process where you are asked to select either "delivery" or Click and Collect" the computer says 'no'. (same thing applies for DM) I wonder if I punched in the post code for your area (N.W. Tas?) it might tell me something different, not that I'm having a shot at you!. I am still somewhat flabbergasted that Dan Murphys opened their first store in Launceston with a population of under 90,000 and bypassed the capital city, Hobart, with 220,000:shock:

Edit: Just tried a dummy run using 7250 (Launceston) on CM and the usual message came up:
Sorry, Click & Collect is not available at this location. Please select Delivery to finalise your order.

...

Possibly to do with not finding a suitable location and license.

Last night I tried my recent United Cellars purchase of Robert Stein Reserve Mudgee Shiraz 2013. Very nice wine and worth every cent. Justifies the $50RRP. This is one for Admel if he is tuned-in today.
