Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

It appears you can only use the "happybanker" code for Winemarket once. I placed and order for myself and then tried to order a gift for the outlaws and I wouldn't apply the code. I didn't try clearing the browser history etc. YMMV.

Can't you just set up an account for outlaws and hey presto?

My Wine Guy are selling the Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2012 for $45.49 a bottle in a 6 Pack:

My Wine Guy - 2012 Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Shiraz

There's not many 98 point score wines (it gets 95+ from most of the critics we trust) in this sub-$50 bracket, so I jumped at a 6 Pack. Also, I had the privilege of trying a 1995 Signature the other day - what a great wine, belying its years:

Here's hoping the excellent 2012 vintage is just as good or better, and lives up to all those 95-98 point scores ...

The 2014 Cullen Dianna Madeline has been pre-released to Family and Friends members today.

[h=3]2014 Diana Madeline[/h]"Ripe red cherry, blackcurrant and redcurrant, baking spices, violet and mint perfume, perfect mocha oak in support. Medium bodied, fresh and vibrant, bursting with small berried fruit, a fine spread of pitch perfect graphite tannin, clean acid line, beautiful mouth-perfume, and a savoury tobacco laced finish of soaring length. Pulsating with life and Cabernet purity. A worthy sibling to the monumental 2012 vintage."

Thought you'd used your wine budget for the month on the 2006 pack? :)

If you wait around, this can probably be had for cheaper - I've bought 10 over the two years at an average price of $33 (got a few cheapies from the BWS clear-out late last year) - probably around $38-39 without those.

I've drunk two, and it looks like a drop with a lot of potential. One of my favourite cab/shiraz blends, available at a very decent price.

I should have done my homework. Thanks CE. Hopefully others will follow the DM / Gift / CR route to get a great deal.
Wozza hopefully others will be a bit sharper than me - yesterday I found an unused and expired $100 Wish card in my desk top drawer within an arms length of where I sit all day everyday - jeez how did I miss that!

Did you try and use it anyway?

There was a period where many gift cards never actually expired in the system. Haven't "tested" this in a while though.

True. But as a savvy businessman you'd understand there needs to be a value proposition. For me it was "Does the value of goodwill with the outlaws exceed the hassle of setting up another account." The case just didn't add up for me. :)

David Jones resurrected an expired $200 gift card. I was pleased that my stupidity was fully covered and will keep me as a customer. I think that gift card must have been a present.
Woolies one with about $20 on it stayed expired so no go on that one.
I tend to have quite a few gift cards so small mistakes can happen.

Not 100% what you asking for confirmation of here. If you are asking can you use the promo to buy a $100 gift card and get the $15 the answer is that I received the mail almost straight away that I was getting $15 off.
