Gaaaah, I was one of the poor peeps on the forum who failed to notice the $114 thing until too late and paid $160. Not a terrible deal but stop reminding me! Boohoo

Maybe I'm on my own on this one but also the practice of changing your birthday in the system to avail of a credit is not something I'm a fan of either. As tempting as it may be there is the possibility that companies may remove this benefit in the future and the benefit is then dead for everyone. Is there any option to hide threads or forums from non-registered members? I know plenty of forums do it for certain areas.
Agreed. Really disappointing.

I got $98 before additional discountsDidn't someone here (or maybe another forums...can't remember) bought 6 packs and bring it down to $99 or something equally ridiculous?

I paid $160 too Bill and thought I was pretty clever until I saw the $99 post. I am still happy though because I convinced my local Dan's to do 3 x 2013 GL 2 x 2016 and 2012 BLHaha. You're not helping!!

The 2013 GL were on special from $45 down to $35 same as current vintage GL and the BL was all they had in at the time. So the manger of the store approved and made me happy. Although not as happy as I might of been at $99That would have been nice! I lose...
How did you convince them to do that?
I Tried to go again at a different Dans and even with the receipt they wouldn't have a bar of itThe 2013 GL were on special from $45 down to $35 same as current vintage GL and the BL was all they had in at the time. The 2016 BL came in a couple of days later.

I had similar thoughts - a bargainHad a chuckle when I saw the Penfolds Bin 111A reduced all the way down from $1,500 per bottle to $1,499 per bottle. Giving it away.

This missing element of the entire protracted discussion, moral chest beating about a dishonest method of a "wine deal".Maybe I'm on my own on this one but also the practice of changing your birthday in the system to avail of a credit is not something I'm a fan of either.
