Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Na, credits to boomy on the WB deal for the initial glitch the night before OzB. And closely followed by ghinx for the $114 deal. Good times 😁 I'd love to take credit, but I was to busy securing egift cards and buying WB to share immediately 🙄
Gaaaah, I was one of the poor peeps on the forum who failed to notice the $114 thing until too late and paid $160. Not a terrible deal but stop reminding me! Boohoo

For those looking toward longevity. I seen this

Bit of commentary as well on the Wine sale
Thanks for sharing that tasting notes. Look forward to the wines. Still waiting - no news yet.

By the way, cellardoor has fine wine week and dropped some of the prices. Not crazy low but may be ok if you are looking for that wines. Also double cellar credits.

A couple may be worth mentioned:
2013 & 2015 wynns black label $25 44%off
Coldstream Hills Pinot noir $21 rrp35 can also ordered individual bottle.

Does any one had many experience with Coldstream Hills reserved Pinot noir? I saw some of the reviews and tasting notes that the reserved is not that much different to the non-reserved?

Is there any option to hide threads or forums from non-registered members? I know plenty of forums do it for certain areas.

Agreed. Really disappointing.
Maybe I'm on my own on this one but also the practice of changing your birthday in the system to avail of a credit is not something I'm a fan of either. As tempting as it may be there is the possibility that companies may remove this benefit in the future and the benefit is then dead for everyone.

Didn't someone here (or maybe another forums...can't remember) bought 6 packs and bring it down to $99 or something equally ridiculous?

That would have been nice! I lose...

How did you convince them to do that?
The 2013 GL were on special from $45 down to $35 same as current vintage GL and the BL was all they had in at the time. So the manger of the store approved and made me happy. Although not as happy as I might of been at $99 😂
The 2016 BL came in a couple of days later.

I Tried to go again at a different Dans and even with the receipt they wouldn't have a bar of it 😢

The more cases you got the cheaper it became per case, this was the main error otherwise one case was $134 instead of $160 which is not big difference. I do remember someone posted here of receiving a case full of BL instead of GL, now that’s a win!

I got the 2013 GL too. I saw it at the checkout and asked for it without realising it was a cellar release and the staff ok’d it because it was the same price. I don’t think they knew it was cellar release either. I felt awful when I realised...

2018 Devils Lair Cabernet for $25pb in a 6 pack through that Cellardoor.co fine wine week also interesting.

Had a chuckle when I saw the Penfolds Bin 111A reduced all the way down from $1,500 per bottle to $1,499 per bottle. Giving it away.

This missing element of the entire protracted discussion, moral chest beating about a dishonest method of a "wine deal".

Buying Marius legitimately at $33 a bottle is indeed a wine deal, early adopters of this forum reaping the benefits.

Got delivery notifications from TWE, good sign!

This is what I was talking about on my previous post @CaptainCurtis, if you or anyone else wish to repost wine deals just wait another day for delivery notice to make make sure members here who shared the information first don’t miss out.

Just received a shipping notification from TWE, looks like at least the Penfolds deal is honoured.

On a different note, there are talks on OZB that the SINGAPORE25 code now has a minimum spend requirement of $100. :(
