Congratulations Shano and Mrs Shano, we hope to be a couple of months behind you in confirmation.

We had exactly the same thoughts (how easy another girl would be), but then I'd have to teach one how to play cricket

Well one way to solve that - one of each.........yep mrs alect is due in July - with twins - one boy and one girl......exciting and sleepless times ahead!

Lindsay I know what you mean about time flying by - I remember the 1st birthday.....seems so easy now looking back  Wait till Charlotte starts giving you attitude

Thanks guys.

We are already getting attitude from 22 mo mini Shano, so one more will definitely be enough!

Both Mrs Shano and I are from larger families - I don't know how our parents did it!

Actually, being from a family with 7 kids - us siblings tended to look after, fight with, play with, amuse and otherwise keep each other occupied; relieving some of the pressure from our parents. :p

Now thinking about number 2. We are split on whether we want a boy or girl...
How about letting fate take its course....

Twins??? Good luck, you will need it. Micro DUF is keeping us awake and she is only one against us two... ;)

alect,

I did not read your post correctly first time around and missed the twins reference.
I wish you well with your time allocation from now on :!: One is exciting and hard work but two could vary from a little to a lot harder.

Thanks - we're somewhat daunted.....but not completely petrified yet :D

Happy Birthday to Charlotte, and congrats to Mr and Mrs Shano and Mr and Mrs alect. My, what a fertile bunch we AFFers are. ;)

Lindsay, I have to say I was pleased when our second child arrived with the same plumbing as the first, but of course any combination of genders will have pluses and minuses.

Mind you, with their mother being a classical ballet teacher and me not into "blokey" stuff (footy, etc.) it's probably just as well I have two daughters!

During our recent 2 week holiday to Fiji, mini-LW decided to try out this new movement called walking. Seems that she has been watching everybody else doing it and one can get from A to B much quicker (and without dirty knees and scuffed shoes)...

Now we've deciding that mini-LW #2 would be nice and the timing about right (between 2 and 3 years between kids).

I think we'll stop at 2...unless Mrs LW has other ideas

You would be a very brave person, if Mrs LW decided to take on some new ideas :D

We have #2 arriving in about 5 weeks time.

I have been told by Mrs Shano that there will definitely not be any more.

Still makes me grimace when I think about what this might entail.....

Just tell her that she'll feel much better after the operation :!:
