What's also annoying is the Perth Accor hotels are nothing special at all. No real reason to go to an average hotel locally for a staycation. The two half decent properties near Perth, Pullman Bunker Bay and Basildene Manor don't appear to have Stay Plus availability (although searching is incredibly painful).

Some pleasant experience/outcome to share - I have a StayPlus night expiring 31/8 and did have a booking for stay at Sofitel Brisbane Central (I am from Sydney) on 29/8. Sent an email online to request for an extension of the credit (in view of the current Covid restrictions). Received a reply early this week stating request had been forwarded to Customer Service team. Received an email overnight (and confirmed online) that a credit had been re-issued for a new expiry date of 31/8/22. Very happy and impressed. The credit was issued even before I cancelled the 29/8 booking. I also already have another credit extended (also from prior years) before this request.Sigh. I have zero confidence after my phone call. I had two free nights booked for Melbourne in early August. Being from WA, that isn't going to happen so I cancelled last week. Two free nights are back in my account but expire at the end of August.
What was frustrating is last August I had a booking to use one of the nights at a Perth hotel. About 18 hours prior to check-in the hotel called to cancel my booking at they were being taken over to be used as a quarantine hotel.
Anyway, just called the 1300 number and asked about an extension. I was told at first that one night will automatically roll over when I renew and the other one will roll over once I make a booking. That didn't make much sense. I pushed for clarification and was told after roll over, if I book and use one of the nights in the first 3 months I can then call and get the other one rolled over (unclear how long it would be valid for).
I pointed out this isn't very practical as I'd want to use both nights on the same trip. The lady just said the same thing again and I told her how impractical it is. She then just said ok both nights will roll over. I felt she had no idea and just wanted to get off the phone. At this point I said I had no confidence in what she is saying as she is contradicting herself and asked to speak to a supervisor. Apparently this can't be done because she's working from home. Eventually she said she'd escalate to a supervisor and is allegedly going to call me back within 2 business days. I don't expect to hear back.
This is super frustrating to say the least.

Happy to, but I don’t have a specific email address - I just log on to my AccorPlus account (via ALL booking site (the AccorPlus log on site always has problem) then navigate to support or contact us something like that for a web-based email enquiry. As reported earlier we received a response advising that the request had been redirected to Customer Service. Nevertheless, the first response was sent from email address [email protected] but I never used the address for further communication. I activated my membership a few days ago and have just used the app. Just log into that, input your search criteria and once the results come back there is a little slider at the top which you flick to check for free night availability. It then updates the results. Surely this is the easiest?I've had this problem in the past. Go to ALL - Accor Live Limitless and search from there (while logged in). The issue happens when going to accorplus.com and initiating your search from there. Obvious, right?
