Sounds like much fun was had by all. I was drinking Spezis in the Melbourne FLounge. Omg so small. I was the only person there for a few hours. Totally weird.

Welcome Home Taezar,
Hope you had an enjoyable trip, shame you couldn't make it last night but hope to catch up with you the next time I'm in Brisbane.
Cheers

A great night had by Mrs Pineapple , who may yet post something, and by Moi too! Great to meet some more AFFers in person. For great company and entertainment, sure beats following bots on twitter!

Thanks to Nigelinoz for being the catalyst.

Till next we meet...

Cheers skip & mrs

Were any of the BNE/DRW/BNE F/A's the usual suspects ie Narelle, Tony, Marnie, Gaby, Mim or Louis? DRW is a fairly senior trip so often the F/A's who bid for & get those trips each have between 20-30 years service under their belt (one has 40 years).

Where did you stay in the 'ville Sam?

It was Narelle! Had a good chat in the air. Not sure of other names, was hard to see sometimes.

And I stayed at the Ibis, not sure why everyone has such a bad view of it, I slept well.

Sounds like a great night was had by all, a shame I missed it. If I'd known my flight would be delayed by over an hour I may have risked the journey...



Hope you all have a great time on Saturday,by that time I will be back at home reflecting on a great week in Brisbane.
See you all next time.
Cheers

Apologizes
Samh004 (he was mileage running)
awilcockson (I think weather could have been an issue, and also saving up those browny points is important as well)
Penegal (he had to work, slack and he was in Brisbane as well.)
Ozbeachbabe (another who had to work, well 3:00am starts are no fun)
Taezar (I guess hanging out in the First Lounge In Melbourne isn't such a bad place to be)
storyteller (attending the Oneworld Mega Do)
Major (Holidaying on Moreton Island, but no big chain properties there so I am surprised any AFF member would go there.
Keith009 (back in Melbourne, he wants to spend as much time away from the Brisbane heat as possible)
(I hope everyone is fine with my attempt at humour)

Now to decide on a Brisbane drinks for February, as this previous poster suggested.

Lindsay,

Does the name Michael Hegerty ring any bells?

Bass player.

It was all about the weather, I had permission to attend but the thought of public transport in torrential rain (plus the 20 minute walk to work after getting off the bus and then further walk to work) was too painful to even think about. I still had permission in the afternoon when the rain eased off, but by then I'd driven to work and my no drink and drive rule meant that I was still out. But I'm sure I'll make up for it on Saturday :)

Does one really need to apologize if doing a mileage run? Surely doing that is as good as a note from Mum. :p
