Brisbane Drinks [25th] January 2012

Confirming I'll be there, just not sure what time. Activities for this team building day I'll be at finish at 3pm and if I can get away on time I'll meet you guys at the hilton for pre drink drinks :)
 
I'm thinking I'll drive and park on Albert Street (between Wickham & Turbot). Will be there ~5pm. Can't make Hilton
 
Sorry guys, at this point it looks like I'm a late scratching ... But I'll see most of you on Saturday :)

It should be a great night,the staff at MJ's seem very efficient and friendly,I'm looking forward to meeting both new friends and those who
attended our drinks night at Irish Murphys last year,shame that samh004 and taezar are unavailable but hope to catch up with them next time.

If I finish work early enough I will drop by en route to the airport, but won't know for sure until the day.

If I miss you, I will have a drink in your honour at the J Lounge with Sam. :p

How many leave passes are you burning at the moment. Lol. Will be good to have you attend.

I'm still planning on attending but not sure what time yet. Need to catch up with a lot of stuff at work.

I have a lovely wife.

Unfortunately the weather gods hate me, and it looks as though I'm out again ... stupid rain and 2.5 hours commutes :(

I'm going to see how the weather goes, if it keeps up like this it probably wont be worth me coming up as have to turn around to get back here by 8pm to collect a friend at OOL (assuming her flights on time of course).

At this stage, it's looking like I'll go straight to MJs from work. How do I recognise people? Is there a discrete handshake or non-discrete walk? I mean, it's not a FLounge or even a QP, so there are no AFF tags ... ;) :D

Hence my post on another thread about a Lapel pin....... But it didn't seem to have much support. Maybe a key tag? :)

If you leave work at 5:30pm you may not be home until say 7:00pm; but if you join for 2 drinks, and then leave at say 7:00pm you will be home at say 7:45pm.

So having a drink means you will be later but you haven't wasted all that time in traffic. :idea:

As such, I regret to advise that I am a scratching. Hope to make it to the next one.


It also looks like it may be a bit of a challenge to get home, so I may see one / some of you at the airport :shock:
