Hi all
Due to the generosity of bossreggie I have an absolutley awesome ticket to race day at the F1 in Melbourne next week to give away. The ticket comprises seats in the Fangio Grandstand and access to the Fangio lounge hosted by Qantas.
The hitch is how to decide to whom to give the ticket. So what I want to do is give the ticket to someone who doesn't normally get invited to gigs like this (to be honest I don't normally get invited to gigs like this), someone who hasn't got status with the airlines, someone who going to an F1 will really mean something (someone like me who was giggling and wriggling with delight yesterday when I found out exactly how good the ticket is). Also it needs to be someone who actually contributes to AFF.
So if you want the ticket (which is awesome and includes a pit lane walk and express access into the circuit - think DJ's implementation of Premium Boarding) PM me with the following:
- Status with QF - only PS and NB will be considered
- Contribution that you feel you make to AFF (I often don't notice the people that spot the cheap fares and share them so don't assume IKWYA)
- What F1 means to you
The selection criteria will be who has the best story about their contribution to AFF and why they think they should get a ticket to the F1 (and if you don't think Michael Schumacher was a cheating b****** when he "accidentally" drove into the back of Damon Hill in 1994 then we might have an interesting conversation on the day). No correspondence will be entered into or debate.
Entries must be in my inbox by 9AM on Monday Sydney time.
You need to get yourself to and from the Circuit.
The seat allocated is next to me so factor that into whether you want to attend
I will endeavour to communicate to the lucky person Monday evening. I wont post here who got the ticket unless the recipient wants that information disclosed.
