ALL Accor+ Explorer Membership Discussion

If I used my Accor+ Free night prior to Sep 30, is it correct that I'd won't receive the new 2x StayPlus Benefit until the next renewal year?

Related question to this: I already redeemed my Stay Plus night for my current Accor+ membership year before the 1 October changes, but haven’t yet completed that stay. If I cancel that night, would my account be credited with two “buy one, get one free” nights to use in my current year?

My understanding is no, based on chatter on FB.

Those who cancelled pre-booked night before 30 Set, got credited with two Buy one, get one free nights. Thsoe who cancelled a previously used stay plus night post 1 Oct, only got credited back one Buy one, get one free night.

Yes. People were only receiving one but I saw a recent report on Facebook that they received two so the error may now be fixed.

It's really disappointing the only basic rooms seem to be on offer, everywhere I looked. Hopefully an upgrade comes through, but I'm doubtful on that.
Some properties will let you chose more expensive rooms but I’d be very surprised if properties allowed all their inventory to be matched to Stay Plus.
I do think most will probably limit it to their basic rooms

I renewed late September with the bonus 2 months and 2000 points. Still waiting on the points, called A+E and a ticket has been raised.
Any one else experience a delay with promised points?

@Flyfrequently
I joined via QBR late September as well, and haven't received either the promised Accor or Qantas points.

Mind you, on the receipt email:

New Accor Plus members who join Accor Plus will earn 10,000 Qantas Points and 3,000 ALL Reward points for the purchase of an Accor Plus Business Explorer membership. Qantas Points will be credited to the Members' Business Rewards account, and ALL Reward points will be credited to the members' Accor Plus account within 30 days of Accor Plus Business Explorer membership purchase.
Time isn't quite up yet for me.

I signed up via QBR back in July. The 3K Accor points turned up almost immediately. Maybe next day? But the 10k QF points (into QBR) didn’t turn up after a couple of weeks so I contacted them and it was manually processed.

I got a pretty well explained e-mail out of [email protected] which is where my queries at the Sofitel (above) landed.

Stay Plus free night availability is not guaranteed for above standard rooms. As per their T&C:

6.2(b) The Stay Plus Free Night benefit is valid for a standard room at participating brands. Some hotels may also offer members an opportunity to upgrade their stay by using their Stay Plus Free Night benefit and paying an additional supplement.

They also have various black out dates and variations for the Stay Plus benefit here ALL Accor+ Explorer Member Stay Benefits Variations

@Flyfrequently, I renewed in early August, before the new release of Accor Explorer, my annual renewal was due 31st August.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't get any other offers other than the 30 nights. I would have liked the 2 months extension, but I was surprised to receive about a week ago 2000 extra points.

I have booked a Superior Suite at Pullman Melbourne on the Park for two nights in January using one Stay Plus night. I was charged an additional $150 for the Stay Plus night because it’s a suite, whereas if I select a standard room, there’s no extra charge.

Using the ALL app, I can see that most hotels in Melbourne are available to book using Stay Plus night in January, including higher-end rooms, with some additional payment options.

I received this email 27 August @ellen10
