Isnt the point of a discussion board to discus things?

I suppose this gets back to the OT or not OT topic. Can discussion about discussion ever be OT on a discussion board?

I remember a computer maintenance book that said something to the effect of 'remember if there are parts left over, you are the one that took it apart'. Another piece of advice was to not use a hammer while repairing a computer.

Two things to remember when repairing computers:

What a screwdriver won't fix, a hammer will.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer.
