Please count me in for Sunday brunch. My default position would be inside, but happy to be outside if conditions are comfortable and suitable for conversation. Sorry to sound like a fussy p**ck, but al fresco dining has never grabbed me in a big way...

Cricket would have been nice too, but I figure I can go to the MEL test.

noted.

I'm foreseeing a loooooong brunch.. so.. even if you get there late... chances are I'm prob still there :D

Well, I'm not going to the cricket, so happy to drag out brunch as long as possible. (I'd have to hop back to the hotel to check out, or request late check out, but.....)

This works out a bit better than in MEL where my hotel was pretty far from Greasy Joe's (a couple of tram rides away).

If anyone can play cards, I always carry a pack. (Might do well to go inside if we decide to play). My game of choice is 500 or Hearts, but I can play many games.

In all likelihood I will be flying to ADL early Saturday morning. I will know in a day or two.

Can pick up a rental at the airport on my way if people want to go out to the Barossa or drive somewhere else.

Sounds good Mark. I think we're getting to the stage where we need to start firming up numbers for events a bit so we can plan in more detail eg.

- how many cars will we need?

- Mapo restaurant booking (if not already made) should probably be made sooner rather than later...can be modified if necessary.

Flashware's suggested plan in a recent post looks good. Perhaps we could get some numbers alongside each activity and take things from there. Of course, does not exclude late joiners (more the merrier), just getting something set in (wet) concrete.

Alright, can we please start to get people confirming their presence at events, as per the previous post (thanks Chris!)

22:30 - Late

Sunday

I'll be doing a dry run of Adelaide tomorrow night and Friday, so if I get a chance, I'll have to check out some of the venues (hope they take Amex:mrgreen:).

Well if it is just you driving, no need for GPS; I'm a gun with a street directory

Confirmed for all events. :D

I might also have a +1 coming for Mapo, post dinner drinks and Sunday brunch. :)

Please consider me a starter (and, God willing, a finisher) for all events. Thanks.

Winery cruise w/ oz_mark (and if needed) Flashware (as I'm under 25 it will cost more for me to rent, unless I go with Hertz )

It's a cruise now? Who fixed us up with a boat? :) Just kidding...

And what's with the  on Hertz? I have a discount code with them that doesn't care how old you are. (Not sure how it compares with what anyone else here who can do a deal.) Unless you have loyalty with a car company which is not Hertz, then I can understand.

Thanks again for putting your hands up to be a designated driver.

More back on the topic, I'm up for all events, except for possibly the post-dinner drinks on Saturday night - that'll be on a "see how I feel" basis, since getting little sleep in the last AFF Gather was......

You didn't have any tylenol unlike poor Flashware, did you? ;)

Well, ADL was good yesterday and nothing had moved. Did get a taxi driver from the airport who proudly advised me in Hindi that I was his first passenger EVER  - yes, his first pax, on his first shift driving.

He did need his GPS to get me to the HI on Hindley Street - then promptly drove past it and parked outside the police station in the "police car zone". When a marked car pulled up behind and beeped him to move, he nearly shat his pants :D

I am in for all except the Winery cruise.

I will be going to the cricket on Saturday, if anyone is interested, let me know.
