How many people will fit into the Restaurant for dinner on Saturday night? Been to Jasmine several times but not the private room. And how many is Buzz able to fit into his Buzz Bus?

Ok where is the payments section?

As mentioned above, when all details are released a form will go up. Don’t worry, everyone will have the same opportunity when it goes live.

Both may have limited spots available I’ll admit. The restaurant is limited by the size of the private room (35 people) but if we go over this number we may just have some diners in the main restaurant space who can come into the private room for speeches. As for the Buzz tour, we are only limited by the size of the bus with an absolute maximum of 48 people.

Am happy to confirm for Friday dinner and Saturday activities including dinner.

Will not attend the winery tour on Sunday.

While I’d love to do the winery tour as well, as I’ve already been on one I’m happy to let first dibs go to newcomers. Would like to attend the Sat dinner though.

I will me amending my post above, but both events should have more availability (numbers) than initially realised.

While I am glad to hear this, the only list that I'll be relying on will come about after members have filled in the web document (not yet posted) and paid for the things they have selected. Otherwise it becomes a little too hard to manage.

Thank you for your patience.

We hope to have a booking form up soon, but I know a few have been waiting to hear about Saturday activities, so the wiki has been updated, and here's the run down:

Friday night

The plan for Friday is to meet for drinks at Lady Burra Brewhouse, exact timing to be confirmed. Lady Burra Brewhouse is the only operational microbrewery in the Adelaide CBD.

Following drinks members are free to get food together at this venue or move to another location.

Saturday
The group activity on Saturday is an Adelaide City Highlights Tour. Starting at 0900 (pickup location(s) to be advised). This private tour will make stops at Haigh's, for a chocolate factory tour, and St Peter's Cathedral. A third stop is yet to be decided on but will not affect the price of the ticket, which is $40.

Finishing at lunchtime, members are free to end the tour here to do their own thing, or have the option of continuing the guided sightseeing in one of two ways, for an additional cost.

The first option is to include an Adelaide Oval Tour, costing an additional $30. This tour will start following the conclusion of the Adelaide City Highlights Tour and will include a behind the scenes tour of the Adelaide Oval and visit to the Bradman Collection. Additionally, you get to go inside the famous scoreboard at the 'Cathedral End'. This will bring the total price to $70.

The second option is to include a Popeye Cruise on the River Torrens, culminating in an Adelaide Zoo Tour, costing an additional $55. This tour will start following the conclusion of the Adelaide City Highlights Tour and will include a return 40-minute cruise between Elder Park and Adelaide Zoo with entry to Adelaide Zoo included where you can see Australia's only Giant Pandas, Wang Wang and Fu Ni. You will also learn about Zoos SA Conservation Program. This will bring the total price to $95.

To do either of the afternoon tours, you will also need to do the morning tour.

Saturday night
Dinner is at Jasmin Indian Restaurant in their private dining room. Described by Marco Pierre White as “...without question most probably the best Indian meal in my life”. You will be served from their banquet menu consisting of 2 entrees and 2 mains but should bring cash along for drinks on the night. The banquet menu will cost $50.

Special guest speaker to be announced.

Sunday
Departing at 8:30am from outside the Adelaide Convention Centre, we head to Chateau Yaldara for a tour and premium tasting at 10:00am. At 11:30am we head to Saltram for another premium tasting and sit down lunch. This should take us to around 2:00pm. Assuming that all goes to schedule, we will take a trip up to Menglers Hill for a spectacular view over the valley. As long as we depart by 3:30pm, we will get to the airport by 5:30pm, then the usual drop-offs at the Hilton and starting point.

This wine tour has been curated by AFF member Buzzard, who will be joining the tour.

--------

Note: Final price of wine tour to be announced in due course, probably as booking form goes live.

This sounds great. Can highly recommend the Adelaide Oval Tour. And besides, in the Sheffield Shield Room you might even find the picture of a nearest and dearest MrP beaming at you in a group team shot holding the Sheffield Shield. That aside, it really is an excellent tour. Some of you may be able to combine it with our equivalent of the Bridge Climb.

The registration link for the weekend is now live: CLICK ME!!

At the end of the process there will be bank details available. Your registration will be confirmed when the funds have been received, and this will then be noted in the wiki. Please do not change the wiki (other than for flights and accommodation) yourself.

Registration will be open until 2 weeks before the start of the weekend, and payments are to be made in full before this time too. Cancellations are possible until this time, but not after.

Done, thanks Support :)

I guess an updated wiki top area means a rego has been received by you OK?

I've paid.

One thought, is it possible for a total to be shown of the chosen events rather than just a list of the cost?

This would prevent errors from people who cannot perform basic addition. :D (And I include myself in that cohort, some days and some times).

I guess an updated wiki top area means a rego has been received by you OK?

We shall update the "Attendees + Events" list in the wiki as money is received and cross referenced with the form. This list then becomes a 100% confirmation, rather than just a list of people who have RSVP'd but haven't paid.

Here's a breakdown

Thank you!

There may have been a way to do this with an add-on to the form, but it's a bit late at this stage to be changing things. I don't want to invalidate the responses received thus far. It's the first time I have used Google Forms and there will be scope for improvement next time. I almost used TryBooking (fees notwithstanding) but found it far too complex to set up a multiple event weekend (not sure it's even possible).

It's the garage sale trail that weekend in Adelaide. Mmm the dilemma of what to do

Am I dumb or what? When transferring money I need to put in the bank account name - is this Australian Frequent Flyer or something different??

If I may answer - there is a name under the banking details, but putting a name on the transfer is really for your own ref - the banks don't go by names.
