Advice on champagne

I have a $50 voucher Qantas wines sent me however it seems they're enforcing the "Excludes Champagne, Penfolds, sparkling wine, food and spirits" conditions as it says the voucher is invalid. I might try and find the $25 one you mentioned.

So what can you use the voucher for?

I had $40 off one and they were going to let me buy with it but i decided on the 20k bonus reds. give them a call and plead dumb.

I tried to get a bottle of porphyry pearl for a friend for their pearl anniversary. And I was going to make them drink it if I'd found some
There’s also the Cold Duck, but probably not for the Pearl Anniversary.

Edit: I seem to recall that Barossa Pearl was “relaunched” several years ago

Edit: OMG that was delicious - please bear with me - not showing off just expressing my total frustration at having to cancel MEL-SIN-PEK / PVG-SIN-MEL flts Sun Feb 16 and 23 which would have afforded me access to copious amts PH Rare both transits in SIN - now 2 mths since last transit - it is killing me! 😭

Cold Duck? Now there's a memory to conjure with. As in, still in our bridesmaids outfits at 6am next morning watching the sun come up whilst sitting on Williamstown pier. We may still have been swigging CD. That's 50 years ago and I still feel nauseous!

Great minds think alike @Cruiser Elite - literally our Vday tipple as well!

As an aside, interesting to note the minor differences in our two bottles (the order of the words, and the inclusion of a fancy 'millesime' ring at the neck being some).

Great spot after their chardonnay, pinot noir, shiraz and cabernet - thank you very much, I found these thirty:

Note that these prices are possible:
  • Krug Clos D'Ambonnay 1998 $2470.78 (not $3999)
  • Laurent-Perrier Vintage $79.78 (not $84.78)
Whilst these are in-store only not delivered:
  • Lanson Noble Cuvée Brut Vintage $88.78
  • Veuve Clicquot Rich $88.78
  • Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve Champagne Non Vintage $73.78
The Krug Clos D'Ambonnay 1998 is the cheapest I've ever seen :)

If you can't Parcel Collect at Australia Post, then try price-matching at My Wine Guy ($30 voucher) or Prince Wine Store

Mike Bennie has given 95pts to Larmandier-Bernier Longitude LAT150319 (2015 base, MAR19 disgorgement - presumably he meant LON150319, since his 94pt Latitude was LAT160319) - a bottle of mine is LON140318 from Dan's last year, who still have it for $64.78 (and Lanson Extra Age, which I perhaps prefer, at $67.78)

Last of the big spenders isn't he?
When dear friends were celebrating their Pearl wedding anniversary I put together a hamper with all things pearl -cd of The Pearl Fishers, pearl mints, pearl bath bubbles, you get the idea. I searched high and low for a bottle of Porphry Pearl without success. I'd be hoping to watch them try and drink it

Although not Porphry did you consider the relaunched Barossa Pearl? A tick under $4 from DM.

it's actually too long ago - about 15 years! But I'll keep it in mind, thanks
