Made any travel mistakes lately?

Arrived at Changi yesterday afternoon after no real sleep for over 24 hours and had arrived at the taxi rank when my wife realised we had left a bag behind. Because of last minute gifts for kids/grandkids we had several extra small bags than normal. Luckily Changi has a bureacratic but effective procedure for this and I was soon reunited with the bag. Eleven hours of sleep have hopefully improved my awareness today.

When in KL, don’t think you are being efficient by buying more than one token for the MRT. They are only valid for 5 hours so the extra one you bought yesterday doesn’t work today.

Drove past the sign to the memorial coming in from the airport after returning a rental car. Literally walked past it today (hidden in a carpark)! Before the GPS got excited that I’d passed it!

I learned that the hard way pre covid. These days a touch n go card is my go to.

There is really no need to buy the token the day before

The machine accepts payment by card now and the whole process takes less than 45 secs, not counting Qing time of course.
