Has there been any news on Accor extending the expiry of points due to Coronavirus?
Are other hotel loyalty programmes doing anything similar?

In relation to points expiry, as I'm sure most of you know, points expire after 12 months of no hotel stays. According to the T&Cs, staying at a hotel is the only way to extend the points expiry.

However, according to Award Wallet (Do ALL - Accor Live Limitless Points Expire?):
"Although the ALL program says you have to complete a stay to reset the clock, in practice most users have found that any earning will reset the clock. While this may be the case in practice, it shouldn't be taken for granted if you're sitting on a stash of points as ALL may decide to be strict and start enforcing their already published rule at any time. "

Anyone tried this and did it work for you?

It seems like I have answered my own question.

I completed some surveys on e-Rewards, then transferred points from there to ALL.

My account now shows: Valid until 10/21/2021

Hopw it went well with your cancellation, @Formal Hall .

I must say I have lost the plot when it comes to ALL status retention. I thought I had just clocked up enough nights to requal gold but got an email saying congratulations you are now platinum.

And got another email about suite night upgrades. I need to ring up to redeem them, yes?
