10,000 bonus points per 20 transactions

Just wondering if anyone can help with the phone number for the exec team as we have not received a letter, and registered on the 17th September. Phone call to AMEX today, supervisor tells us, as we registered for multiple promotions, they have amended our registration to the 22nd September and we are now capped!!!

How many transactions have you guys done this month. I know Lindsay said he did 60. Thats good value. I estimate 1000 points to be worth about 6 or 7 bux when you get goods for them based on RRP. Any thoughts??:p

Have been following this thread with interest.

The story so far.

Joined 17th Sept, no post card. Joined 20 for 10,000 online. Rang and changed 5 for 5K. Approx xx,xx_ bonus points appear in MR card clearly
on the 5 for 5k promotion Have been POCed.

Rang Amex on 21st Oct was told by consultant I had registered on 22nd Sept, was told EVERYBODY regardless when they joined was capped 10k per month.
I asked and was transferred to a Manager who also said I Joined 22nd Sep.
Manager had no record on her system and would not take my word that I Joined on the 17th, but I was able to prove my case by asking her to look at myreward points entered from 17th Sept.

Manager then tells me I am on the 10 for 5k promo Unlimited. I ask for an Email to comfirm conversation. Tells me she doesn't send emails!!!!

Manager sends email to executive team to clarify 10 for 5k promo.

I rang back this evening and was told due to multi sign ups on the one card they have registered us on 22 Sep with 10k limit per month.

Well after several more declined transactions I rang Amex to find my card has once again been suspended. No idea why.

Hey Simongr,

How did you go with Amex in the end? I'm going to be calling them on Monday as i got my POC letter this week and i've been changed to the 20t/10K as i had multiple registrations. Not happy.. Will be on the phone Monday.

Also i still haven't received my call back yet! 3 weeks and counting!
 
I think I have just clocked up 72 transactions for the month...with 15 minutes to spare ;).

Now to turn our attention to November. Which of course is Movember and I've had 3 friends already email me asking for donations....guess which card will get a workout tomorrow :D

Not sure if it is my company fax machines or the wrong numbers but I didnt seem to get through. I will try again on Monday.
