I have FINALLY received all points owing from the MY REWARDS promotion 5/5000.
Amex has settled without the case continuing for judgment with the F.O.S.
So my advice to anyone else who is waiting for their points is to persist.

The problem was I was on 5/5000 & later they put me on 5/10000 as they had
for many on this forum, and no, all normal everday use of card,with a low of about $10.00, no 10c sales.

With Amex, I have had several occasions where they have at first denied me points including suspending me from this particular promotion.

In each case though perseverance eventually won the day.

This is an amazing thread...

Just spent an hour going through it today with no prior knowledge of the promo from last year...what an adventure!

In the US Amex would have just paid up with a huge thread over at FlyerTalk being the result...but not in Aus...as soon as something too good to be true comes along - well...T&C's get changed :evil:

Deserves an 'Australian Story' episode at least!!!!
