Anyone claimed TID?
What is the process?
My phone stopped working on second day of trip...completely dead.
Thought battery so week passed before I got it.
Not battery.
Thought credit card may cover...not purchased Australia.
So do I call them before I get back or when I get back?
Phone is year 1&1\2 old.
Will I get it repaired\replaced or original money PAID for phone back?
I'm up for $100 excess
EDIT: IS the following correct??????

They'll try as hard as possible to get out of that one.Personally it's not worth claiming and why I take an older, disposable phone on holiday with me.Phone is year 1&1\2 old.First off, they'll claim depreciation, which will be in excess of 50% of it's value for a phone that age. After that, they'll try to claim it was intentional damage (I.E. your fault). Then they'll point out you didn't specifically insure the phone.Had mates claim (with Mondial), an utter nightmare so I'm glad I've never have had to do it myself. Will I get it repaired\replaced or original money back?New for old, doubt it. As for money back, you'll never get the full amount due to depreciation. If you do make a claim, you should ready yourself for a fight.
