Vinomofo Wine Deals

Bought but not tried. 88 WF 96 WC apparently some bottles had cork issues, how many no one knows.. Wait till others have tried and report back. Maybe Redbigot may have more up to date info.
No, sorry I don't have any info on this. The Winefront note is from July 2025. There is always a story behind this sort of deal, maybe innocuous, maybe not.

Sorry for the delay in replying about the Tapanappa, the packaging certainly exudes a feeling of quality. Elegant, poised, a tinge of translucent cherry/cough medicine in the glass, somewhat understated with none of the varietals having the upper hand (not a fault necessarily). A tad lighter than I was expecting, a surprising ABV of 14.9% all things considered. I'm an unabashed fancier of big-boned reds so not the best of critics when it comes to wines like the Tapanappa, I'm sure others will jump in to disagree with me regarding the weight of this wine and I would concede that it is elegant and complex but lacking in mouthfeel and gravitas for me....

Had a glass of this last night and found it a bit tight. Decanted and left overnight in the fridge, after warming up this arvo it's really come good with considerable fruit depth and a long powdery chocolate finish. So perhaps needs a bit of a decant to make it come good. Overnight probably a little extreme but perhaps a couple of hours would get it in the spot
