Hi I am considering OW RTW for the first time - using points . However the Oneworld FAQ says it cant be done at all at the moment. Can anyone please advise why or when this may be restored please ?

Eh?

There are no restrictions booking a oneworld classic award at the moment.

You're mixing up a Oneworld RTW fare (a cash fare) and a Oneworld award (what this thread is about)

If you are really struggling and can’t understand the FAQs then there are paid services that may help you do a redemption.

Ah, as you e found it, the oneworld website isn’t relevant here. This is a qantas product, using qantas points, so you need the QF booking engine.

The oneworld site allows people to plan and pay for their tickets I believe. But that’s cash, not pulling FF points from the different airline programs.

Hello all,

TLDR: If changes were made to an itinerary and an updated ticket number is showing on the Royal Jordanian website, but not on Qantas', do I just need to wait for the confirmation email to come through or should I be calling up again?

---

I had booked the first leg of my RTW itinerary and made the dreaded call to make adjustments. We were just wanting to add legs to our itinerary with no other changes so thought it would be a smooth ride. Flights were shown on the Manage Booking page prior to hanging up and we were told we'd have to wait 24 hours for ticketing.

In typical fashion after 24 hours two of our legs from the initial itinerary were now missing and I had to call to get this rectified, to which the call centre said they would need touch base with the airlines that dropped our flights.

A day later, both were showing back on our Manage Booking page but one shown as waitlisted.

72 hours has now passed and looks to be confirmed but we haven't been issued a new ticket # via email nor is it showing on the Qantas page, even if I click email itinerary (still shows the old ticket # and is missing the added flights).

I checked the Royal Jordanian Manage Booking page and it's showing all our flights with a new ticket number. Do I need to call up to get Qantas to send it out, or do I just need to be patient and wait for it to come through?

Thanks all. Hopefully no issues on our final call to add the final legs to our flights in a few weeks time.

Edit: Nevermind, they put us in Premium Economy instead of Business on that flight... Going to need to make a call.

You need to call asap, multiple times email the escalation team as well. Basically the instant a flight drops or ticket takes too long you need to be hammering them because despite what they tell you, the partner airline has removed your tickets due to non-ticketing.

In fact I'm on the phone right now to QF due to my CX flight disappearing and it's been about 6h since they took payment but didn't ticket the itinerary.
