Citi cards become myCard - no more CX, KF, EY, QR from 16/11/25

Yes I complained and yes it was over web chat. Quote:

> With regards to the annual fee once the account is already close we can send a request for reversal and this will be subject for approval from the manager. You can chat or contact us via phone with this number 13 24 84 (Option 1) and we are open 24 Hours / 7 Days. So that we can make a request for annual fee reversal.
Update on my Qantas prestige shenanigans:

> After review, the manager was able to approve a 50% waiver of the annual fee. This is the maximum adjustment we can offer at this time.

So I paid $375 -$100 uber credit -> $275 for >150k qff points. Will now see if I can immediately churn a premier qff card and hit points club plus.

New mycard offers are up. I'm eyeing Premier

Get 110,000 bonus Velocity Points when you spend $8,000 on eligible purchases within 90 days from approval and enrol in autoredemption.

Annual fee
$300

I tried to check T&Cs and cant see any mention of government spend being excluded for points or bonus. e.g. pay my ato bill. Can anyone confirm this or do we need to use ZIP/alternative payment gateway? Thx

Use sniip / other gateway to be safe. I ran 10k through sniip for my SUB spend.

Thanks mate. Buggered if i know how i didnt find that.

Is there any reason people use sniip over zip? Zip would be cheaper if memory serves.
Mainly because I’m never going to sign up for zip in my life

Did anyone get an unexpected interest charge on the account in the first bill after the changeover ??

The other thing that happened in the migration from Citi to MyCard was a systematic F…up charging interest on the outstanding balance…..
the Service Recovery on this is really bad. Oh well, we know about it and we will get to it sometime whenever it suits us

Mrs SS Received first statement on 09/12 on the new system but no sign of any Qantas points in her QF account yet. She has MyCard Premier Qantas account. Is it really taking this long or time to escalate?

I closed a Citi Premier about 4 months ago, well before the transition to MyCard, I wonder if I apply for a MyCard Permier now if I'd entitled to the bonus points. The T&C's only say "This offer is not available when closing or transferring from another MyCard branded credit card account or in conjunction with any other MyCard branded credit card offer." Thoughts anybody?

I asked them the same question when I was applying for my pro rata annual fee refund. Here is what they shared with me:
I understand your question. Eligibility for a sign-up bonus will depend on the specific offer's terms and condition. even though your account started with Citibank, MyCard sign-up bonuses are generally subject to new-customer who have not held an eligible card within a certain period. Once you find an offer that aligns with your interests, we recommend reviewing the eligibility criteria or checking with us before applying to confirm whether you'd qualify for the bonus.
So contact them and check for eligibility before you apply. Although to be honest with how janky their systems were, including how hard it is to do a migration like this, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you can apply without telling them and slip through the gaps.

That comment was only for the Balance Transfer though. It's not specific to the bonus points. That's my interpretation anyway. Someone on the forum is bound to try and apply after closing it and let us know, could be you! ;D
