Pumpkin! Spinach! Just a bit of rocket missing on top…I really enjoyed the pumpkin, spinach pasta, but I do realise it’s not for everyone.

Some recent TT meals
Got a menu on outbound. I don’t do TT often but haven’t noticed in the past and didn’t get one on the return.
I was on the last flight back to SYD so got to see when EK bought out the food and drink for their departure at 9pm. Im a big EK fan and it was really high quality food. I have pics but limited but would recommend.

fried eggs with bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms (which was fine). I don't usually fly this route very often and wondering whether anyone here has had this meal often and are the eggs usually this cooked/hard?

Ah. ADL.View attachment 482261
Just for interest sake this was the “same,” (fried eggs with bacon tomatoes and mushrooms) as your meal but catered out of ADL to ASP. Probably just depends where it’s made and how they choose to prepare the dish.

Now that was more what I was imagining! I think it was just the shape of the eggs that was my source of disappointment since they were described as 'fried' and then they were just dry lumpsView attachment 482261

Who knows…I tried to upload the accompanying pic but took too long from where I was having dinner in BNE yesterdayI wonder why this menu is presented on nicer paper / looks better than QF international business menus.![]()
Literally had the same meal the other day, was fairly decent.Who knows…I tried to upload the accompanying pic but took too long from where I was having dinner in BNE yesterday
Did BNE MEL this evening and posting from somewhere with better signal. Quite enjoyed the beef on today’s dinner service operated by QFlink - never had any issues on QFlink A220 services despite others who seem to think QFlink catering differs

Agree, in spite of (inevitably) being way well done, the last two steaks I have had, have been surprisingly tender and tasty.QF35 MEL-SIN 21/11.
the beef whilst overcooked was still tender and one of the better steaks I’ve had in Qantas J.
Had the slow cooked beef of some description (even the FA's did not know what cut, come on QF, at least give them an information sheet if you are too tight to give printed menus to us J pax anymore!), but whatever it was it was quite good. MrsDrJ had the same, the other option was some chicken dish.I love my steaks well done but you can still cook a tender and tasty well done steak. Obviously it’s not easy to prepare on a flight but most QF steaks have been ok and certainly better than a couple I’ve had on EK which were pretty ordinary. Slightly OT but on our recent trip I had a decent steak on CX and the one on VN was close to the best airline steak I’ve ever hadAgree, in spite of (inevitably) being way well done, the last two steaks I have had, have been surprisingly tender and tasty.
