ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

It does say up to 30 days for QBR points I think.
Yes, and 16 June 2025 for the ATO bonus.
Would have waited, but the bill was due before then.

For those transferring to QBR, if choosing the auto monthly transfer, what day of the month does it occur on?
It only gets done in multiples of 1250 Payrewards points, not so good if you have an uneven number.

^New pay.com.au customers will receive 25,000 bonus Qantas Points (‘Bonus Qantas Points’) for their business if:

For those sniip users, it says you get 1 QFF point for $10 in bill payments.
Is that per bill, or for the coughulative total for the month/cycle?
eg. you pay $6 from Bill A using card A. You immediately pay $4 from Bill B using card B.
Will you still get 1 point?
Just trying to maximise a sign up bonus.
Thanks!

I signed up with the QBR 25k bonus. That hasn't arrived yet, nor has the ATO bonus (as expected).
I did get a "first payment" bonus 1k Payrewards points (400 QBR) however.
I'm just hoping that when I cancel the premium plan, it doesn't affect the bonuses - shouldn't, but there might be potential hassle.
The QBR 25k bonus arrived about 1.5 weeks after the payment was made.
Pretty good for a "within 30 days" clause.

Looking at a few others, thought I'd put this here for reference, Westpac Altitude Black MC Qantas $1k payment:

sniip
Bonus 5k QFF with $1k spend
Regular earn is 1 QFF point per $10 spent
Mastercard and Visa are both 1.50% (inc GST)
Altitude Black $1k payment has:
$15 in processing fees
Earning: 100 QFF regular earn
5k QFF bonus
750 from Westpac
Total $15 for 5850 QFF points
Potential $10 referral discount

RewardPay (Amex partner)
30% bonus Qantas points (QBR)
2.15% processing fee (ex GST)
If choosing 1 point per $1 spend = 1.80% fee (ex GST)
The QBR Amex earns 1.25 points per dollar
$1k payment has:
$21.50 ex GST in processing fees
$18.00 ex GST in points fees = 1000 QBR points
300 bonus points
$39.50 for 1300 points
1250 points from Amex QBR
Total $39.50 (ex GST) = $43.45 inc GST for 2550 points

Yak Pay
Mastercard standard card fee is 0.85% ex GST (seems like Altitude Black comes under this - only the Westpac Business cards come under "Premium")
Earn 30% more Qantas Points on every eligible transaction made via card or Bank Transfer using Gold tier or higher on our Rewards Accelerator feature
Gold is 2% fee (ex GST) for 1 QBR point per dollar
$1k payment has:
$8.50 ex GST in processing fees
$20.00 ex GST in points fees = 1k QBR points
300 bonus QBR points
750 points from Westpac
Total $28.50 ex GST ($31.35 inc GST) for 2050 points

sniip is definitely the best one of these 3.
The sniip 5k bonus posted at the same time I made the eligible spend.

I Had multiple friends and family members Signed up for Sniip 5K bonus for 1st time, went thru all the checks but Got Advised they were not qualified for Bonus.

Went and read on freepoints websites and saw multiple complaints regarding that too.

Assuming they are doing the bonus to attract more customers but so far I can guarantee they lost a lot of business because of the way they handle the bonus/rewards

Agreed - I have a friend who at my prompting did this as well. They too received the "Not Qualified" notification.

Miffed enough, they submitted a pleasantly worded "please explain". A non contrite, grammatically challenged and seemingly canned answer was received within a few hours:
Confirming the automated notification text message, you received upon adding the promotion code that your account is ineligible for the promotion is affirmative.

Our systems conduct robust checks when a promotion code is added to ensure it’s not a lookalike account to one already in our systems or it’s linked an existing Sniip user.

Unfortunately, in these instances, there are numerous flags that overlap with existing users in our system.

As such, your account is not eligible for the new user promotion, however you are eligible for the 1 point per $10 on your transactions.
My friend replied disputing this but over a week later, they have received no reply.

They are now exploring the benefits of PAY.com.au and its 25K bonus and for them, Sniip has had the snip.

Just got the Amex Qantas Business Rewards card. Looking to pay an ATO and Victoria SRO bills. Have used sniip some time ago for these things but wondering if it’s still all good to use sniip for these bills and it will count as eligible spend for min spend requirements? Banks haven’t made some changes on this?
Thanks

Nope - all still counts for eligible spend

I think I read online or received an email from Yakpay their fee on Westpac Altitude Black Mastercard was to increase from 0.85% - 1.25%. Can anyone confirm with source?

This will be a 50% increase in cost for me so looking at alternative payment methods. Suggestions?
ATO fee now looking attractive by comparison, leaving the only Yakpay advantage the ability to schedule payment.
