Yes, today the credit is available for me - but they do maintain "up to 6 business days".
For me, it was just that it went from 'pending' to (not pending).
Clever technique, but for me, its the convenience of paying through the app. Fortunately its rare that there is credit withheld for the
up to 6 day period that I need. If it does happen, like
@SYD I'll just use another fee free card, like my NAB rewards.

Main point was the absurdity of them claiming up to 6 business days (more than a week!) to have the credit refreshed. They must calculate that the value of using my payment funds in the background before the credit is re-instated is greater than the value they get from my using that credit again.
