Latest information about 28 degrees card

Nothing to see here. Still paying $8pm but not earning them any interest payments either.

Same here. I had to request 12 months' fee wavier so got $96 credit, but still essentially paying $8/month

I suspect whether or not they extend the waiver will have a lot to do with how much has been spent on the card in the last year.

For various reasons, I had to put a fair bit through the card over the last year.

If it is, it’s a pretty low threshold! I only got $50 in Latitude vouchers… so that’s 5 months of $1000, and the other months significantly less (out it all on to star alliance HSBC).

Similarly, I got the 12m extension and just clicked over $30 in vouchers .

Hmmm.

Maybe they’re being preemptive… stopping people applying for another card now, in advance of Sept 25 when the free year was supposed to finish? Makes sense I guess.
