Latest information about 28 degrees card

I suspect whether or not they extend the waiver will have a lot to do with how much has been spent on the card in the last year.

For various reasons, I had to put a fair bit through the card over the last year.

If it is, it’s a pretty low threshold! I only got $50 in Latitude vouchers… so that’s 5 months of $1000, and the other months significantly less (out it all on to star alliance HSBC).

I got the extension. Has it been a year already??

"We're waiving your monthly card fee for 12 months. Starting now!"

New email dated 15 May 2025 "We're waiving your monthly fee for another 12 months!"
(terrific - effective from when to what end date? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️)

Great news - we want to recognise you as a valued Latitude 28° Global Platinum Mastercard credit card customer and waive your monthly credit card fee for another year - that's a saving of $96!
You don't need to do anything; it'll automatically be waived from your account.

Great... but when does the waiver end????

Hmmm.

Maybe they’re being preemptive… stopping people applying for another card now, in advance of Sept 25 when the free year was supposed to finish? Makes sense I guess.
