My balance at cashrewards is over $200. I like to think my next wine purchase is already paid for.
I've seen too many businesses go bankrupt for me to risk having a balance that high. I'd be taking the money and being thankful for it.

I keep my Available Rewards Balance under $20 at all times.

Withdrew a sum today myself - found it curious that the couple returned and cancelled orders still got approved though. Maybe its only a certain store?

Some solid deals at Cracka Qaz. Wouldn't mind giving the Umamu a crack at that price as well and the Xanadu Chardonnay is always good. How does one take the $50 off these days? The code MOREBDAY is no longer working.

Cheers.

I'll PM an active one.

I also found the 2015 Serafino McLaren Vale Shiraz to be a nice buy. I might be a bit of a beer wallet, and biased for a McLaren Vale red, but for the price it hits the spot.

96 points from JH, and sitting at #11 of 75 in Huon Hooke's 2015 Shiraz tasted from McLaren Vale with a price benchmark of $62.23. Not bad at around $17 after a $50 voucher and cash rewards.

Thanks for that. How is a man (or woman) to budget with these kind of wine deals. And where do you store it all through a sweltering QLD summer. Serafino shiraz looks good, the wine front guys like it too.

Especially for those interested in Piemonte/Piedmont's wines, including Giovanni Rosso's on Vinomofo, Prince Wine Store have Australian David Fletcher's new releases on special, such as X15 Langhe Rosso 2015 for $35, though WineStar is cheaper for Barolo Alta Pete 2013 at $67.99 - their quality/value is considered similar to the D'Anna family's Australian and Italian wines.

Back at Cracka delivered after $50 off and 8.5% Cashrewards:
I got one of the 2008 Umamu in a Cracka clearance dozen ($79) a couple of weeks ago and drank it over 2 nights (finished last night). Was better on the first night but still an easy drinking quaffer.

Got this email from Cracka this morning:

If ever there was a case for why you should be buying mystery wines, let it be this 2015 Mystery 95 point Adelaide Hills Chardonnay.

Just listen to the background context. We're talking about a flagship Chardonnay, made by a 5 star rated Adelaide Hills winery, with a strong cellar door trade and a decent mailing list.

With this wine they've used handpicked grapes, sourced from a vineyard in the dress circle of the Adelaide Hills, the wine wild fermented and carefully matured for 18 months in 30% new French oak.

In turn, the wine has landed 95 points in the recent 2018 James Halliday Wine Companion, where it was praised as a stylish, textural style with 'perfectly integrated acidity'.

A delicious modern Chardonnay, with sexy mealy vanilla oak, perfectly ripe white peach fruit and a fresh finish, we're talking about a wine that sells for $60/bottle at cellar door and represents the best the winery can produce.

Forget that number though, because as a mystery wine, I can offer you some for just $24.99/bottle in six packs - ie $35/bottle off the cellar door price.

I have just 60 six packs of this Chard available, so you'll need to be quick to land a bargain. Grab some now via the website here or give the team a call on 1300 727 252 to nab over the phone.

Came out from a meeting and missed this. That Fraser Gallop is a great buy at that price!
Shame. Shame. Shame. You're obviously not serious about wine buying. It's the job or the cheap wine buying, you cant do both :)

I missed out on some very good deals whilst in the US earlier this year on an extended break. So you can't always be on top of every deal.

Unfortunately, I have to keep the job to maintain the habit of buying wine! Just have to make meetings shorter from now on. On another note, I need to work out a better way of monitoring this thread for great deals.

How is it that I didn't get this email from Langtons!

If you read back a bit in this thread - or it may be the Vinomofo thread W&D posted what to do to get email notifications
