Vinomofo Wine Deals

Does anyone know what the Black Market 2015 Shiraz $60 down to $18 is?

It looks like it might be: Allegiance Wines, The Artisian, Barossa Valley Shiraz 2015.

Can confirm Gold in Cowra Wine show 2016 & Gold in Cairns Wine show 2016
Tony Keys 94 points.

Cant be bothered looking any further!

It's from Amelia Park, but according to one of my members (via broker) it's apparently an "export label" or if feeling cynical, maybe "made for VM".
They also have a Shiraz 2014 at the same price, but won't be getting the Reserve level wines.

"You love their wine. In fact, two years ago you drank us out of house and cellar when you bought thousands of cases of the ‘12 and ‘13 vintage."

Having this in the description indicates it's a wine/label they have sold before, which means it shouldn't be be an export label or a made for VM wine?

Interesting - sold out now, so we'll find out soon enough. The "SHE'S BACK" was a big giveaway!

redbigot, export label for Cab Merlot only, or Shiraz too?

Note bottom on website

"Also sold under our export Ironstone Cabernet Merlot label."

Just relaying info from Broker re export label (could be exact same wine in the bottle), the other bit is just me being cynical.

Note that the reviews etc on the Amelia Park page for the 2015 C-M are in fact for the 2014 vintage, bit of a hasty/sloppy update of vintage.

Thanks. They've always had lots of incorrect links on their sites - try Tasting Notes links, many are wrong vintage! :)

Email from VM today indicates they will do free international shipping for 24hrs! That's a big claim. Tell your friends O/S.
I wonder what happens for returns?

I wonder if you can engineer it from the other end i.e. buy a case as an impromptu pressie for someone overseas and have it shipped to their address? Three hours left to decide:) Must say I can't find a great deal of info on the site concerning the fine print....

Edit: classic VM behaviour at the present moment in time - "Worldwide" shipping apparently only extends to Oz, NZ and Singapore - the world as we know it is evidently shrinking:shock:

I dont know about the current vintage but i remember everyone raving about the previous ones! I wonder if the reserve range will be up!

The Madeleines 'Pudding Stone' Syrah Viognier 2010 showed up yesterday (having been ordered on the 12th May...)

It's much bolder than I was expecting, and I wouldn't have noticed the Viognier if it wasn't on the label, doesn't have anywhere near the aromatics from other SV blends. It was also sediment city, very surprising. From the ever so polarising info on Vinomofo...white pepper, yeah a bit, medium bodied, nope, fruit intensity, not really, elegance? well thats subjective. It's alright, and I'll keep hold of it but wouldn't buy again.

Edit: night two this came alive a bit more. Needs lots of air I think.
