Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

In a word. Yes

Technically you also have access to the Oneworld lounge over in TBIT

We arrive into T1, then leave from T2, so don't have plans to go to TBIT. we will just find the club in T2 and sit and wait with a couple of cold drinks. I'm not expecting too much, just get out of the main terminal area.

Did you mean T4? I'm not aware of AA operating out of T1 or T2.

If travelling AA, it's either T4, T6 or TBIT.

There was a typo on the itinerary I received. we have now all agreed that it is indeed T4, so all is back on the rails!

I'd still recommend you hop over to TBIT via the connector and use the OW lounge, it's miles ahead of the Admirals club.

I've got hours to kill in LAX over a couple of occasions next week. Will float between AA Flagship and QF prior to boarding a couple of AA Doms. This will be my first visit to the new QF LAX lounge - looking forward to it.

A few Q's

1. It's been years since I've flown out of JFK - what's the best lounge for a WP flying AA (F) out of T8?

2. Can I visit the DFW AA Flagship dining option? Travelling AA F DFW-JFK

I've got hours to kill in LAX over a couple of occasions next week. Will float between AA Flagship and QF prior to boarding a couple of AA Doms. This will be my first visit to the new QF LAX lounge - looking forward to it.

EDIT: The Centurion lounge at DFW is really superb if you have access to that. Your AA flight may well depart from the A concourse both the above lounges are in D so build in some extra travel time.

Good pick up on the departing terminal - it shows as A, C or D. A quick review of FlightAware shows all three were used over the past week.

I now see that JFK T8 only has AA lounges - so it's the Flagship... was hoping that BA F was in play Love those S&V chips!

First question, apologies if its already been asked (I couldn't find it after browsing for a while).

I have a Singapore airlines business class ticket to leave from Melbourne airport in a few weeks. I am wondering if I can access the Singapore airlines lounge AND the Air New Zealand lounge? To, for example, enjoy the superior food in the Singapore lounge then go play some pool and watching the tarmac in ANZ.

I have 2 complimentary QF passes I want to give to my daughter and her BF to use on their trip next month. They want to use them on the way home in Hkg. Does this lounge qualify for these passes? Next onward flight is qf with qf flight number. I only ask because last time I gave her some she tried to use them in LAX but got knocked back, seems that's a shared lounge or OW not qf operated or something.

I believe HKG qualifies as it is QF owned AND operated.

The issue with LAX is that while it is QF operated it is owned by QF, BA and CX.

I have an 8 hour layover in Hong Kong and I would like to get a little sleep during this time. Should I get a hotel room or will one of the lounges I have access to have sleep facilities? I am booked in First Class on an Emirates flight from DXB to HKG and transferring to a Malaysian Airlines Business Class flight to KL. I have Platinum Virgin Australia status and Gold Qantas (One World) status. Any suggestions?

As you are Qantas Gold flying oneworld you'll have access to the oneworld business class lounges in HKG. The new Cathay Pacific Pier Business Class lounge near gate 65 appears to have some day beds if you are lucky enough to get one...not sure if there is a time limit though. I'm not aware of any other business lounges in HKG that offer something similar. Hope this helps.

Note that there are lounge renovations going on at JFK T8 and some short term closures are possible.
