The "Mitolo" keeps getting pushed back; now estimated for 20 October. Not a peep out of VM about it either.

My broker assures me there's nothing untoward and they're getting loaded up today or worst case by the end of the week.

If that was true, then why the extended delay?

Unfortunately this approach from VM is becoming more frequent.

I suspect there's some truth in the hypotheses previously put forward by other members on this one - that it was a VM exclusive (at least initially) and a lot of the "stuff" that's usually done before it's marketed to the punters was done after on this occasion, once the actual demand was known. Not that that's an excuse.

More spin from VM...but the real reasons will not be released
I had an order sitting in my cart all day yesterday...pending ..and VM set me an email in the arvo telling me items in my cart have all just about sold out and you better quickly complete the order to avoid disappointment....but I note to this moment wine is still for sale...lol

I suppose the Cellar Master walks out and couldn't be found. That's the Mitolo Cantiniere (Cellar master in Italian) :)
